Still can’t add my address as a pick up address
I use Neales whenever I need a taxi and book on the app. On the whole they are pretty good, but there is something wrong with their address database as it refuses to allow me to set my address as a pickup point. It defaults to just the road name and postcode (which covers about half a mile of road), or, if I use the map to pinpoint where I live, it generates an totally different address and postcode 200 meters away. I have reported this for many months, but so far none of the updates have fixed it.

Great app for great service
I absolutely love the convenience and pricing at Neals. Have been using them for a while now and they haven’t let me down once. Great for local trips and airport transfers (with competitive pricing!).

No issue?
Not sure where everyone is going wrong with this app, but I use all the time with no issues. The only thing I don’t like is when you pay by card you have to go through my banking app to verify which is a pain. Apart from that no issues with booking a car, straight forward process. Would be useful to be able to add in multiple, pick up or drop offs.

App rarely works. I fly back and forth to Heathrow regularly and use your company. However, I can only book online, and always receive a text suggesting I use the App? I would if it worked 😬
App no longer working
It’s been more than two months since the app stopped working. I cannot order a taxi through it, neither asap or in advance. I have called the office multiple times and they say it’s a bug affecting iPhones and was reassured that it will be fixed within the next couple of days, it has been two months since then. You’re losing a massive pool of customers and it is to your advantage to get the app back into normal working order.

No longer working
This app was buggy to begin with and if you needed to book at cab at short notice, you would have to call. Now it’s been unusable for over a month meaning you have to call to book each time and request a text in order to pay by credit card. I’ve been told management are aware weeks ago but you still can’t book using the app. I book several cabs a week and while I get there are going to be issues sometimes, this one has dragged on far too long.

Totally inaccessible for blind users now
The app update has not solved the terrible gps map which updates incredibly slowly. Even worse, it has not been set up to work with Voice Over, which means blind users cannot book taxis through it. This needs sorting out urgently. It’s an absolute basic requirement of app development.
Used to be good not anymore
I have used the company for the last 20 years, over the last few months pre booking on the app they have never turned up on time, there is always an excuse, sadly after so many years I have decided to try other companies moving forward as they cannot be relied on. Sadly the customer service is now non existent

Worst taxi service.
Doesn’t confirm on the app sometimes that a taxi driver is on the way, gives the wrong time of how long a wait will be. Yesterday i took a taxi which said ‘7mins wait’ i had paid by card, never to know i’ll be an hour late. Today an employee drove off after 3mins of waiting and then was rude on the phone when I called back. Never taking the service again.

Great app service
Been a regular customer with Neales for years but now use the app for all my bookings! It’s quick, easy and been very reliable so far!

NEALES is a great taxi company and this app does the job, it’s not flawless but it works and is handy for people like myself who need to book a taxi at 9pm at night for 8am in the morning and just want to lay in bed and not communicate like the hermit I am
Started mediocre, getting worse
As with other users comments, great taxi company that has rarely let me down. But the app started as a mediocre attempt at a great idea and has descended into something worse that never sends a receipt, and can’t find Heathrow airport.
Sadly next week I will try a different company simply because I don’t want hundreds of pounds worth of expense receipts floating around on tiny pieces of paper.

Needs improvement
Bad app for a good taxi company. Location search/ update is most painful and error prone. If booking taxi on the move, it's very difficult.
Charges for credit card without warning
The first time you use is a card on the app it checks to see you have money in your account. Without any warning they charge you £0.01 before charging a further £1.01 before, two minutes later, charging you the amount of the taxi ride. Apparently it will automatically be returned within 2 days (normally) but to be honest I’m furious. If I have £1.02 it does not mean I have the cost of the taxi.
It is also not standard practice. If they charge like this they should clearly state that in the app. I sincerely hope they have not done a credit check without permission.

NEEDS an Update
I’ve been using this app since it’s release, and it was really practical. Nowadays, I don’t even receive notifications regarding my booking. Every other app works fine, except for this one. Moreover, the GPS system needs to be reworked because it has its flaws. The app is overall really buggy, so I would prefer it if the essentials were fixed before any new additions, not that I expect any updates. In this case, we just have to call, which in all honesty, defeats the purpose of this app. I really like this taxi company, but PLEASE fix this. Renew your contract with this software company or please seek another one.

The app basically gives the driver the option whether they want to pick you up or not.. an by choice most of them wont! Not worth the time, use another taxi firm!
