• The PulsePoint AED app is now the NEAR Registry app, better reflecting the expanding emergency resource focus of the National Emergency AED + Resource (NEAR) Registry. • Bleeding control kits, epinephrine and naloxone can now be registered at any location, whether paired with an AED or on their own.

A big step forward

In our agency these AEDs are recommended when 911 talks to callers during heart emergencies. Many times the callers are unaware of AEDs close to them. We have used for several years.

Locked out by phone

This stupid app locked out my phone. I couldn’t do a normal button reset. Lucky it wasn’t an emergency. I needed so do a hard reset to get control back

Froze my Iphone 17

While I think this app is great to find AEDs around your area (watched demo in my ACLS/BLS) class), I wasn't able to open the app at all because it gets stuck on notifications. The app doesn't open other than the notifications window. At that point, Im not able to do ANYTHING with my phone other than force restart it (if anyone has the same issue for Iphone 17, it's push volume up one sec then down one sec and then push and hold the right side button until Apple screen appears/screen is black).
