Wild creative control in one app
Incredible creative control in one app. App can be a little finicky with lag on the touch screen, but it paired up quickly and works as advertised.
Stable connectivity is everything
I want to give this app a higher review but it continues to struggle with finding my devices. I have a pair of RGB660 lights I use for photography and sometimes video calls.
I use the iPhone app on my iPhone and I have installed it on my Mac as well.
The device scanning takes a long time, and almost always fails. When I tap on one of the devices (which appear “Device offline”) it shows a “connecting…” and then Could not connect to the device.”
Each of these takes idk 5-10 seconds.
Sometimes, it works. For example, if I turn the light off and then back on, it may be recognized automatically or one if I tap on it.
Sometimes, if I turn it on, and the bluetooth is showing on the display panel on the light the app just refuses to see the light.
The impact of this is that I often must just go and switch the light off manually, which breaks any kind of hoped for continuity between sessions with the lights.
Please take a deep look at the overall user experience of the light connection workflow and information you provide to the user on why a particular device is not seemingly available for connection.
Please consider surfacing information like when a device was last scanned for etc.

Not Just a Lamp
Wow. I am a beginner photographer. I had no idea my portable Key Light had so many different options after adding it to my app. I do a lot of low light photography. And as a beginner I struggle with seeing my image through the view finder until the flash discharges. That’s probably the wrong word but being able to light my scene and see it through the view finder exactly how it’s lit is a game changer. This app seems to even be able to bend light. I’m so happy and I won’t struggle with my low lights again.

Fallos al ejecutar escenas
Tengo tres modelos distintos y después de mucho pelear para organizar mis escenas no conseguí que no fallase, probé todo, también poner el iPhone 16 pro Max en modo avión y reiniciar mil veces, cuando pulsas sobre la escena para llamar la configuración se carga la anterior y tienes que pulsar dos tres o cuatro veces para que se ejecute. Si miras en el dispositivo parece que está todo correcto pero la luz no se actualiza a la nueva escena. Obligado a cambiar de marca y es una pena porque los efectos están mejor que los de Godox pero aquella no falla y NEEWER si

Good but missing Siri / Shortcuts / IoT integration
Would love to see the ability for Siri, Apple Shortcuts, and other IoT automation support. Being able to create a simple Shortcut or ask Siri to turn on lights would be a huge quality of life upgrade.
Also unsure why you can only assign lights to one iOS device. Would be great if I could be able to control lights from all of my iOS devices.
Hope the above features are on the roadmap!

AI garbage
AI is just an excuse for data mining. It’s a light. It doesn’t write PhD dissertations or make fake Picasso paintings. Removing the yet another app from greedy companies. I have a lot of neewer gear but the company has gone pure greed and will no longer be purchasing from them.

Garbage!
This app is incredibly frustrating! It’s constantly glitchy. You can press a key, feature, or button, and it won’t work. It’s almost impossible to make any changes to the features you personally want. Even editing the light colors is a hassle because the app keeps crashing every time I try!

I somehow got in the personal center and can’t find how to get back to my light
Disconnects all the time! Unusable!
Can’t use the light effects as it stops as soon as the lights loose connection with the app on the phone. What is going on here? Is like a beta test pre release software! Is unusable and unreliable! I wish I could have other brand at this point. I don’t understand why everyone thinks this app is any good.
