Actually finished a book
Had a story idea sitting in my notes for two years. Typed it in, got a full draft with chapters in one evening. The writing needs some editing but as a starting point it’s wild. Comic mode is fun too.

Surprising book writer
Nellie is impressive for generating full-length book drafts quickly. I tested it with a fantasy setting and the output was coherent and well-structured. Covers and AI image support add a lot of polish. Great tool for anyone struggling with writer's block or wanting to prototype a story fast.

Great way to explore new genres
The first thing that caught my attention was the reliability. Being a parent and wanting to come up with a cool story for my toddler, while running around and being that parent, is easier said than done. I loved that I was able to start the creative generation process and “set it and forget it” so to speak while it was put together. The starter credits are also great to have so I could try it out and see how much it really works for my family’s crazy schedules.

I’ve tried every “AI Writer” out there and nothing come close to this. The chapters actually flow and the characters feel real. Made a kids book for my children, and they asked me to read it twice!!
Really human-like books! An actual author
Very impressive how humanlike the books are. Writes the entire thing cover to cover. Even the textbooks are academic-level, and the fiction storylines are engaging. Love it!

The generated books are really great. They all contain illustrations. I used it to generate horror stories about my town.
Creative Assistant
Nellie has become my creative assistant. Instead of replacing the creative process, it has been augmenting it by generating novel ideas and helping me to iterate on the depth of the plot line. I’ve been continually impressed with how much better this tool does at generating compelling stories vs more generic AI tools.
