CLOUDCASTLES IS ON POINT WITH HIS COMMENT ON THE ALREADY SMALL SCREEN OF GAMEPLAY ON OUR PHONES OR IPODS,THERE IS TOO MANY BUTTONS AS OF RIGHT KNOW AND THEY DON'T BELONG ON BOTH SIDES OF THE SCREEN,HERE'S WHAT WORKS BEST FOR THIS TYPE OF GAME,ELIMINATE THOSE OLD LOOKIN PADS AND ADD SMALL CIRCLES WHICH ARE SEE THROUGH WITH SMALL WRITING OF WHAT THE BUTTON IS IN THE MIDDLE OF COURSE OF EACH BUTTON AND TO HAVE SOME OF THOSE BUTTONS DO MULTIPLE THINGS SAY 1 BUTTON LIKE WHEN U TOUCH ON IT U THRUST AND WHEN U LET OFF U BRAKE,AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO PLACE THOSE NEW CIRCLES (BUTTONS) WHEREVER WE WANT ON THE SCREEN,PLEASE DO THAT THAT'S THE ONLY THING HOLDING THIS GAME UP THOSE PADS U HAVE JUST DON'T WORK BESIDES THEY ARE TO FAR APART TO BE TRYING TO PRESS THEM AND BE PLAYING AT THE SAME TIME,I WILL GLADLY ADD A STAR IF THAT HAPPENS BESIDES I THINK IT'S TIME FOR AN UPDATE ANYWAYS IT'S ALMOST BEEN A YEAR I SEE.THANX FOR YOUR GAME AND TIME PLEASE ADD A NEW BUTTON SCHEME GREAT GAME.

Awesome! Needs a part 2 in HD.
This is the best game on iPad so far! All it needs is better graphics and the ability to listen to your own music. Forget graphic improvements, you guys should make a sequel with better graphics and new planets! Here is a cool idea, mankind conquers the Nemesis system and goes to alpha Centauri in the sequel! It would sell (I'd spend $10 if the graphics are good and gameplay is as good as or better than this game). I don't know why this game wasn't a bigger hit than Galaxy on Fire 2, it's way better!

Gorgeous graphics, overwrought controls.
You have to see this space shooter in motion to appreciate the normal mapping on the objects, very slick and almost photorealistic. I love a good space shooter but the extra control buttons (4 on each side, 8 in total) are a mess that simply ruins the immersion. You can minimize them but as you can see in screenshots, they're always there. Less is more, especially on a touch screen.
