SCAM / FRAUDULENT BUSINESS MODEL
The free trial automatically turned into a paid subscription and I was charged today. I immediately contacted customer support to cancel and requested a refund, but they refused to return my money despite me not using the paid subscription.
What is most concerning is that they knowingly keep the payment and refuse to refund it even when the customer contacts them immediately after being charged. Their response is simply that I should have cancelled earlier.
This is an extremely deceptive and exploitative subscription model. It is deliberately designed to catch customers with automatic renewal and then keep their money when they ask for a refund.
This is a scam and fraudulent business practice. I would NOT recommend this app to anyone. Stay away.

Their customer service is not helpful at all so I’d just save myself time to not bother with downloading this app.

Ich wollte zweimal Umami bestellen. Als ich ankam, hatte man uns das Menü bereits gebracht und die Preise für Umami waren circa 3,50 Euro teurer als in der App angegeben. Man sagte uns, dass die in der App angegebenen Preise nicht akzeptiert werden können. Trotz der höheren Preise wollte ich zweimal Umami bestellen. Dann wurde mir gesagt, dass ein Mindestverzehr von 50 Euro erforderlich sei, um die Aktion nutzen zu können. Ich habe gefragt, wo diese Information zu finden sei. Da die Dame mir keine Antwort geben konnte, haben sich die Kollegen unterhalten und erwähnt, dass sie es dieses Mal akzeptieren würden. Das ist sehr unverschämt.
NeoTaste kontrolliert auch anscheinend nicht die Preise.
