I received two unauthorized charges on my credit card from this app. It’s either been hacked or is a complete scam. DO NOT DOWNLOAD, USE OR SUBSCRIBE TO THIS APP!!!

I have tried to cancel this subscription several times and can not seem to get it to stop charging me
Total scam!!!
Never signed up for this app. They have been charging me $24.99 for months even though I’ve messaged and done everything to cancel this app that I never even signed up for or agreed to have! They are scamming people! Sham on the App Store for continuing to let this app rip people off.
Cannot cancel
Tried the Free trial and was not what I was for. They're definitely scripture stories, but not the actual scriptures. I canceled the Free trial, but it continues to charge me. I have tried different processes to cancel, even emailed the company and still cannot get them to stop charging my account.

Worse App
I purchase this App last year and every other month they try and charge my account after I have cancelled it SEVERAL TIMES! I’ve never had so much problem in trying to cancel App!
Dialect Choice
I love the words and stories. The voice is soft British accent and not what I hear every day so I notice my brain doesn’t shut down. I am still trying to relax after it’s over. So I listen during the day to destress but it doesn’t put me to sleep. I would like to be able to choose what accent or language is spoken in the stories.

Don’t give your credit card!
Total scam! Dont do it! They tried to charge my cc 5 times in one day! And I have tried to cancel it and it won’t let me!
Do NOT do trial subscription!
We were charged two separate fees, a gimmick they use to extort over $50 for the “trial” we forgot to cancel. When we got billed, we immediately cancelled all service with the company but got another bill after saying we had the upgrade and that had not cancelled! Horrifying to have a company that purports to share the peace of the gospel have such deceptive predatory business practices!

BEWARE OF SUSCRIPTION ISSUES
First of all the app is extremely boring. I try to support LDS apps, but if you are not satisfied with the app make sure to cancel the subscription before they bill you. They will probably respond to this and say “I’m sorry, please contact our support and give an email. Just want you to know I already have done this, and they do not listen. It’s unfortunate because the idea of the app is good, but they need to be a little more understanding of technology difficulties and if people don’t want the app DO NOT force them to keep it. It is not good company policy. I personally do not line the speakers tine as he reads. It was a headache figuring out how to cancel the app. NOT HAPPY!

Not recommended
You are charged several times. And while the scripture readings are beautiful. If you try to cancel to stop recurring charges you lose access to the site so that’s just basically over $70 thrown away. There has to be another app that does the same thing only with the love and guidance that should be intended. I am very disappointed.

Fraud
This company charged my cc twice in the amount of $29.99. I paid for a years subscription, which was supposed to be 29.99/year not a month. There is nobody to speak with about this issue.
Add features please
I really enjoy the app, however; please improve the app with a sleep timer, continuous play, and shuffle. I’ve had it for a year and I would think with the number of reviews begging for these upgrades you would have added these functions by now.
Repeated Charges
The content is lovely, but for some reason, it keeps trying to charge my credit card, even though I already paid for a year subscription. Luckily my credit card is denying the charges, but I have not yet but heard back from a customer service rep to get this sorted out. Nor does the app give me the option to cancel.

Disappointed
I thought the stories would be continuous. Meaning being read one right another with no stopping in between. But no. It only plays one reading/story then it shuts off. I was under the impression that it would continue to play until I shut it off. I bought this for calm reading through the night to “calm my mind” to sleep better. I can’t use this to do that. I have to stay awake to start another story. How is this calming? There is nothing in the settings to change to reading continuously. I wasted $60. I’ll just have The Book of Mormon read continuously.

DO NOT PURCHASE A SUBSCRIPTION! This is a scam. The company is in Abu Dabi, and everything, including the narrations, is generated by AI. Even the responses to the reviews are AI.
Here’s what happens: You’ll be charged for your annual subscription, and then it will continue to charge you the same amount or more every single month. Even if you cancel the subscription they will keep charging you.
Church Intellectual Property has been made aware of it. So has Apple. I understand the Church is working on getting it stopped. But if Apple won’t do anything I’m not sure what can be done.
