Good app concept, but cannot verify articles and they often include grammatical mishaps!

Great App Idea, Poorly Executed
When downloading Nerdish I was looking for reads that would be approachable while still intellectual. What was read lacked scholastic level writing. Keywords/citations were misspelled, the citation format was inconsistent, no rhetorical awareness, etc.
If I am going to an app for knowledge, articles should be written by an author that is an academic, professional, or expert in the subject matter.

Articles are created by our editorial team, often with several people contributing, and are based on sources such as published research, Britannica, museum archives, and other reputable references. We’re constantly working to improve the quality, so thank you for pointing out where we can do better.

Hi! You can delete the app the same way you normally remove applications from your device. Just press and hold the app icon for a moment, then select the “Remove App” option (it’s usually the last one in the list). Unfortunately, we don’t have the ability to remove the app from your phone remotely, so this needs to be done using your device’s standard functionality. Hope this helps!

It’s nice, but too many incorrect “facts”

Thanks for the detailed feedback and for pointing out the specific lesson. We’ll review that topic to make sure it reflects the current state of knowledge in this area. We’re also looking into adding sources, but it’s something that will take time to implement properly.
Two things…
1) How often do you plan your add more content? Currently, I count less than 150 articles spread across 8 different categories. I probably would read 3 articles a day, which would mean I would have nothing new to look at in less than 2 months.
Even if I only read 1 article a day, I still would finish this app in less than half a year.
Why should I subscribe annually??
2) Obviously you can charge whatever you want for a subscription, but I feel $40 annually is too high, especially when one starts to look at other apps in this category.
I would like to see you offer a one time purchase price instead of a subscription. I would probably pay a one time fee of $40, if I had an assurance of content to be continually added for some time.
Just my 2¢
Again, I do like this app. Please consider adding a one time purchase option, and comment on adding more content.

So far, only a small number of users have read through the entire library from first article to last. That said, we absolutely encourage and welcome more intensive reading habits like yours, and we know such readers exist. This is exactly why we offer not only annual subscriptions, but also flexible monthly and 3-month options at a lower price point, so everyone can choose a format that fits their reading pace and goals. We do add new articles regularly, and expanding the content library is an ongoing part of our work. At the same time, our main priority remains depth, clarity, and editorial quality rather than sheer volume. Thank you again for using Nerdish and for sharing such considered input.
