Great little cam nest box
Got the box up and running in no time, picture good quality, app easy to use and very responsive. Just need to add birds now !
Complete waste of money
Camera stopped working less than 1 year after purchase. It first started with no ability to charge from the solar panel, then it completely died and wall power would not recharge. Reached out to support and they never responded. Stay away from this company, other alternatives out there.

Spot on, had a crash out, ( battery ran out even with solar panel) tech support replied within hours, can’t fault them 👍 ( changed battery back up fully and it all connected back up just fine)
Very poor
Have tried to write a review for this many times and it gets rejected…. Very poor app. Was glitchy and when we tried to reinstall due to app not working we lost connection to our camera and due to birds using it we are now missing out on what we bought the box for as the only way to reconnect is to open the box up. So disappointing

Nestera App, works great with iPhone 12.
I was given the Nestera nest box with camera and after a bit of time and “reading the instructions”… I find this works really well. Its probably a bit late in the year but it is nice to see everything working. You can see the solar panel charging the camera, the inside of the nest box, and listen to the birds in adjacent trees. Hopefully we can still get some later nesting bird moving in. Fingers crossed

Camera shuts down, support is non-existent
Every night the camera shuts down for no reason. Put in a support ticket 10 months ago and no response. Difficult to control camera, record, and share. Lots of “spinning wheels”.
Not getting notifications
No recordings mor notifications since update June 1st!
Recording all the time, not just on motion detection
It’s hard to get to and download the videos of birds actually in the bird house / moving. While the camera records all the time if you have a microSD card installed, it’s hard to get to and watch the moments of actual bird movement. One has to click to “messages” to get to the motion triggers detected, then view it and manually click on “record” while watching the scene you want to actually save and download to your phone. It would be much more useful and convenient if a user had the option to set the camera to only record when motion is detected like in other cameras like the Ring camera app.

Useless
Like the previous reviewer I wanted to ‘upgrade’ from the horrible app that was suggested when I bought my nest box camera from Gardennature a couple of years ago. After wasting a considerable amount of time trying to connect the camera to the app I now know that’s not possible so I’m stuck with the awful one.

New App that need user reviews
Overall the camera was easy to setup but some things are confusing. For example after charging the solar panel for 24 hrs it continued to glow red which according to support is ok. We have recently had a big drop in temps in the northeast and the cameras charge level dropped to 90%. This drop has occurred after one week. It’s my hope that the company continues to enhance the app and perhaps provide an 800 support number for customers in the US

Flawed
Another fundamentally flawed ipcam app that won’t let you add existing cameras by simple input of IP address. It assumes that you are setting up a nest cam from scratch whereas I have one that I’ve been using for a few years on the flaky Chinese app that came with it, that I would have switched over, but this app won’t let me. Come on devs…
