App is easy to navigate & use. The only annoying thing is the subscription, if you don’t subscribe to it.
Service is spotty
It never connects to satelite, it breaks the signal constantly.

This unit is a beast. We have the dual ones. And it covers the whole house which also covers the 2 bedroom cabin in the backyard. I have been using Netgear since I was a kid and it’s never disappointed. Ever
Questionable support and security.
I have tried to check for updates for over a year and it always fails and says try again later. I have no idea if my firmware is up to date or secure. I like the system but the support seems poor at best.

Good home system! Software needs some work
Had this system including 2 x satellites for 1.5 yrs. Overall very good. I like the 10Gbps possibility, and the 2.5Gbps ports for wired connections. Pretty stable & reliable with good signal strength for the $$$, but wish it was quicker/easier for the router to turn off WiFi to certain devices. Sometimes certain devices mysteriously drop connection & I frequently have to go back into the Parental Controls & set devices back to their assigned profile…system seems to do “phantom refreshes” where ALL devices get assigned ti the default profile. Minor annoyance, but worth mentioning here.

Incredible. I have a three story, two basement, over 100 year old home made of concrete, metal lathe, plaster, and most impossible to transmit WiFi signal through substances. I first bought the Eero top of the line system. It did not work at all even with a modem and three satellites. I thought I would have poor internet signal as long as I lived here. I then bought the or I too of the line system. WOW!!! I bought the three pack. With one installed my wife had been online three floors up working with full signal. When I installed the second the entire house was covered with max signal!!!! I then installed the third, which I’m sure I don’t need. FAST!!!!

Functional, slow and an Old GUI
The app functions and eventually gives you the information you need/want. But it’s so slow, mainly due to bad architecture! Most main functions are “Blocking”. I guess when they initially wrote and released it, multi threaded wasn’t supported in the OS? 😁 (just teasing)
The user interface is old and enforces the bad design. You ask for Network Map, and until that specific function finishes, the whole app blocks (temporarily freezes) and you can’t do anything else. Frustrating 🤷🏽♂️

Dumb Luck
Things were not going to smooth on the setup,. It felt like dumb lucky fell into play and got log-in process
Can’t Log In
Can no longer log into the app after the last update. Forces the username to be admin, doesn’t recognize Face ID, no way to change the credentials. Useless.

Reset hungry
Be prepared to rest this device many, many times. My older mesh system worked better. I even bought a new updated modem and I’m still not satisfied. Not much I can do now after $1000 into it.

Pretty good for a beginner but needs improvements for an advanced user
It’d be great if you could have dedicated devices on a dedicated satellite and move them around as needed or wanted. Also, with priority over other devices on the network. Speedtest, it would be nice to know where I’m connecting to and be able to change to different servers whether it’s locally or across the world to another country or within the US. It would be good to be able to do a lot of the admin functions within the app instead of logging in through a browser.

Unstable after power outage
My Orbi network never comes back properly after a power outage and takes 2+ frustrating days of restarts & tweaks before it’s stable again. Super annoying: never seems to need the same restart process, always guesswork.
