Limited iPhone use
Complete waste of time for iPhone users. The app has limited functionality for iPhone users and while a vague warning appears, the user is never explicitly told exactly what functionality is limited. Prompts to purchase the desktop version along with a coupon code mislead consumer to believe the heat map functionality will become available if purchased. Not true. There is zero connectivity between the iPhone app and the software. Any work completed on the iPhone is wasted effort as it exists in a silo. Customer service suggested I transition to an Android device for better performance. What??? Save your time and money. Hours of time lost. Do not recommend for iPhone users.

iPad Version Feature Limitations Caused Project Delays
Hello,
I’ve been using NetSpot for several months and, overall, I’ve been quite satisfied with the software. However, I recently ran into a situation that caused significant inconvenience.
Since carrying a laptop around for Wi-Fi site surveys is not very practical, I decided to purchase an iPad Pro along with a NetSpot license for iPad, expecting to use it as a more portable tool for my work.
When I needed to perform a Wi-Fi coverage analysis and create a signal strength heatmap, I discovered that this functionality is not available in the iPad version. As a result, I had to postpone the project, which led to financial losses and negatively affected my professional reputation with the client.
Yes, part of the responsibility is mine—I should have checked the feature list more carefully before making the purchase. However, I believe the limitations of the iPad version should be communicated much more clearly. From the product description, it is not obvious that the iPad version is significantly limited compared to the desktop version and is essentially suitable only for basic measurements.
Moreover, even the speed test functionality is not always useful, as it may not work in networks where outbound internet connections are restricted or blocked.
The money itself is not the main issue, but the overall experience has been disappointing. It would be great if you could offer some kind of solution for existing customers, for example, providing an Android license as a goodwill gesture. I will most likely end up purchasing an Android tablet specifically for using NetSpot, since carrying a laptop in the field is genuinely inconvenient. Having to pay for yet another license after already purchasing the iPad version feels difficult to justify.
I hope you will consider both making the limitations of the iPad version more visible to potential customers and offering a reasonable solution for users who have already purchased the software.

Just an expensive ad for the desktop version
I need to see frequency map and strengths from different areas to try and nail down an issue I am experiencing I found out that only the desktop version might do something that I can use after purchasing the iOS app. Shame on me.
Easy and Fast app
Works great !!
