Network Monitor by FireAngel User Reviews

Not user friendly

One of my smoke alarms developed a fault and I tried to remove it. After removing the alarm from the network, using it’s reset button following online instructions, and confirming it flashed it’s lights the correct way, there is no way to remove the device from the app. Eventually I discovered that you need to do a network test. There isn’t a network test option in any menu. Apparently it will automatically be removed in 7 days. I won’t hold my breath.

Of little use!

This app truly is an amateurs attempt at creating something. It neither works well nor does it accomplish much.
Unable to add more than 12 devices to gateway therefore if there is a fire in one of those sectors no one will know where it is and it won’t trigger the app as an alert.
This is an extremely poor attempt at providing a safety tool and should actually be reported to the health and safety board as if you rely on the app to care for loved ones, you’ll be sweeping up their ashes!
A truly abysmal app! Should we assume their hardware is bad too?

Should be zero stars

Impossible to use. Requires an activation code to register - and they don’t tell you what it is. And the website from a mobile is unusable. Avoid.

Bad

Couldn’t get the activation code couldn’t find it anywhere and couldn’t register I have a fire angel co alarm wi safe 2 W2-CO-10X

Basic

This is a start and hopefully the developer will continue to invest in this.
Setup was a nightmare, is uses a web interface not the app.
I don’t get alerts on my phone if an alarm goes off or a fault is created. Surely this is the most important feature.
