El sistema es excelente, la app no

Llevo tiempo con Ajax y quiero dejar clara una cosa antes de nada: el hardware y el sistema de seguridad funcionan muy bien. Los sensores son fiables, el historial de eventos es completo, el vídeo en directo responde, la gestión de usuarios y permisos está bien resuelta, y avisa del estado de baterías y conectividad de cada dispositivo. Armar la alarma es un solo toque, los avisos críticos suenan aunque tengas el móvil silenciado, y el sistema sigue operativo si se cae internet. Todo eso está bien hecho.

Mi problema es la app de iOS, y por eso puntúo con un 2.

Primero, no parece una app de iOS. La navegación es claramente Material Design, un puerto de Android con el que convives pero que nunca se siente en casa dentro del sistema.

Segundo, y más grave: ignora prácticamente todo lo que iOS ofrece. No hay widgets de pantalla de inicio ni de bloqueo, así que para ver si la alarma está armada tienes que abrir la app. No hay Live Activities ni Dynamic Island durante el armado. No hay atajos de Siri, lo que impide cualquier automatización propia. No hay geofencing. No hay Face ID ni Touch ID para desarmar. Las notificaciones llegan, pero sin acciones rápidas: cada aviso obliga a abrir la app. Tampoco hay soporte para el Botón de Acción, Centro de Control ni CarPlay, ni versión nativa para iPad. Respeta el modo oscuro y la traducción al español es correcta, pero ahí se acaba la adaptación a la plataforma.

Tercero: es un sistema cerrado. Sin HomeKit y sin integración con Home Assistant, Ajax se queda aislado del resto de la casa. No puedes hacer que armar la alarma apague las luces o baje las persianas, ni consultar el estado desde la app Casa junto a todo lo demás.

En un producto de esta gama y este precio, esperas que la app esté a la altura del hardware. Aquí no lo está: cumple, pero no aprovecha nada de la plataforma. Si Ajax añadiera widgets, atajos de Siri y HomeKit o Matter, subiría a 4 sin dudarlo.

Molt malament Ajax i la seva suposada seguretat. És imposible la visualització de les càmeres sense xarxa d’internet, encara que estiguis connectat a la mateixa xarxa local que les càmeres. Una il·lògica total. Si tens un sabotatge i tallen la conexió de xarxa a Internet et quedes sense videovigilància i poder observar el teu entorn.
