User reviews

Still buggy despite app update

While using with a new iPhone 16, the app still loses connection with the Xen unit, meaning sometimes I can get it to work, and sometimes it let’s me click buttons on the app but the Xen unit doesn’t respond, and sometimes it’s the opposite. In addition, I still have to go through a second Bluetooth connection to be able to stream music through the app and into the Xen unit earbuds—and that second Bluetooth connection only works sometimes. The vagus nerve stimulation is helpful when it works. Sadly, it doesn’t work reliably on this app and device combo.

Xen

I have had the Xen for a few years, just writing a review now. Love the Xen, 15min a day give me a great sense of calm, worth every penny!

Horrible connectivity issues

It's the worst Bluetooth device I have ever used in my life.. I sent a support request and sent emails and no one seem to care for customs after they sell the product

Needs improvement

The app has been abandoned. It hasn’t seen an update in over a year. There are a lot of things I’d like to see fixed. Namely the external audio source is not controllable. The app is not intuitive and doesn’t explain the different wave forms. It doesn’t have any built-in meditation. It doesn’t alert you when a session is finished. And for whatever reason 10 minutes on the app is not 10 minutes in real time. And that’s all just in the app. That’s not even guaranteeing that the product itself even does anything.
As for the product itself, the audio quality is garbage despite them advertising otherwise. And you’ll either feel nothing at all or discomfort. Some people have even reported additional medical issues. You’re better off looking at a competing product such as Sensate, TENS, or Heartmath.

Part of the daily routine!

I have typically listened to music when I get up in the morning so transitioning to using the Neuvana set was seamless. I think one of my favorite parts of using these headphones, and more so something I’ve noticed on the newest set (I was a first-gen adopter) is that it feels like it connects to your brain waves on a level that can’t be replicated with normal headphones. Hard to explain in words and don’t know if everyone experiences the same thing. This along with the subtle stress reduction and calm makes the investment in wellness totally worth it. Kudos to the entire team at Neuvana continuing to improve technology and taking care of buyers through excellent customer service! Thank you!
