Over a month ago, I posted a review that was very critical of the new app, especially the weather section that doesn’t have enough tropics information. The developer responded saying these issues would be fixed soon.
I was optimistic that this update might solve the problem. I was wrong.
What used to be my favorite local news app has caused me to download apps from other local stations.

Useless app now
The new app update is garbage. Can only view things that show up as a notification. Cannot view anything when clicking on the app icon. Weather and radar is shoddy at best and lacking important information, marine information, tropics ect. There is better radar information on other local stations apps. Whoever developed this update needs to put it up their back side where the sun does not shine. A user can get better information by looking into a storm drain around a NOLA metro area.

Always watch. Concise and more importantly correct information. No hypothesizing. I need to know reality if I am to deal with it. Love the mixture of personalities and bits about their lives and like to view clothes. At 81 I don’t know what is current in style. I live at a home and a small but together residents watch you every

This app has been my go to for years, but the recent update is certainly not an upgrade. So much information is no longer available. There is no more traffic information on the app. I previously noted that the radar is useless, as there was a HUGE temperature icon the covers a huge portion of the map.
Perhaps most importantly, there used to be a section for the tropics complete with models and the latest tracks. That’s gone too. What are y’all thinking?

Delayed notifications
Breaking News notifications are sent hours after the actual event. No longer reliable to stay informed especially with local news. National and World news are just Associated Press releases. I guess it’s time to use my Fox One subscription to watch WVUE.

Radar map is multiple gestures away from home/landing page. Radar map forecast shows a loop across the twelve hours. You need to remove with big black circle from the map as it covers the content
