App crashing in iOS
I can’t open this app any more, it crashes as soon as I enter the place I want to search home
Literally Unusable
App will crash when using the app, it’ll crash when typing in a location, it will crash no matter what you press.

The basic login does not work

This is what happens when the people who build an app never actually use it. Simple features like searching where you are looking on the map just don’t work instead it snaps back to locked location, very outdated ui. Will definitely use Redfin/Zillow instead.
This honest reviews website is OWNED by the builders themselves lol
Only in America can a bunch of home builder corporations come together and build a website/app that provides their customers with “honest” reviews of themselves. 😂😂😂😂then flood the search engines with fluff articles and reviews uplifting themselves. And Americans say let’s go with kb homes they have all these great reviews lol 😆 hilarious seeing boomer ceos make billions off hype culture by artificially generated internet traffic and positive hype about themselves.

WAS A Good App
I enjoy looking at homes for sale and this app delivered all the new construction details I needed. Something changed and now I can’t get past the first screen.

Doesn’t sync with website
It’s a shame that even after making an account that this app doesn’t sync up with the saved favorites on the website. It’s sort of useless if you have to duplicate your searches and work on the website AND then again on an app.
New update deleted all my information
This has been a great app until the last update. All the saved homes, communities and builders were deleted. I absolutely love the app but it doesn’t load any information anymore including all the history I saved onto it.
Best New Home Resource
I found my last two homes using this app. It shows all the builders no favorites. Updates fast.
Was great, then started glitching
I loved this app. I am so into Zillow so I thought this was the perfect app for new houses. Unfortunately, I cannot get past the login page. Whether I sign up with a new account or just try to login, it just takes me back to the starting page. It used to work, and I really enjoyed it. Also, adding the feature “only available plans” would be stellar.

Can’t get past the continue screen! Cannot skip login.
Solid app
The layout is intuitive and easy to navigate. I like being able to use the map feature to see and adjust the radius of the search to see what streets/cities the radius will include. Nice app!

Because why would you think about UX?
Whoever designed this app or final approved this design should be fired and banned from app creation for rest of his/her life. What good is a new home search app when there is NO map feature? How the heck are we supposed to magically know the communities by now? That’s the whole point of using this app is to NOT have to do that research. Utter fail. Never been so amused by the pointlessness of an app esp for a web company that has been around for awhile. Your employees are probably laughing about this as some sort of April fools joke against management

Odd experience. Add community?
Way to hard to drill down to the area I’m looking to buy. Where is the request for location services? I want to search by zip.
Needs...
This app need to auto populate by city/zip instead of having to build by community, etc.
Just copy your website
I was so excited to see this app because the website is amazing! When you go into the app, you see that it’s incredibly hard to navigate and you need to know the names of the builders and their communities to see what homes are available. Please update this and make it reflect your amazing website which allows users to filter the houses based on different parameters the user inputs.

Can’t even search on a map. What is this, the 1960’s?

Why can’t I just look at a map of just new homes, how on earth would I know what community to choose from???!!!??? Thanks for wasting my time.

I have no idea who this app was built for. Certainly not for those looking for new homes who haven’t narrowed in on a development already. Wait, isn’t that the point of NewHomeSource?
I’d ask the team to go back to the drawing board here. Allow customers to search their current location via the map or list — not having to hunt and peck through a list of predetermined locations and then know a builder. Not intuitive.
Further, don’t require an account to browse. Like the website, I should really only need an account if I’d like to save communities to my favorites or receive email updates about new communities near me.
Whatever you decide, just please, know who you’re designing for before you design.
