What a pity apps like this covertly sign you up for a monthly subscription when you thought you had done a one time pitchase of a single course.

I purchased a course promoted for $1, believing it was a one-time payment. I later discovered that a $39/month subscription had been activated automatically after a short trial period.
The subscription terms were not sufficiently clear or prominent at the time of purchase, and I did not knowingly consent to a recurring charge. As soon as I noticed the charge, I contacted customer support and requested cancellation and a refund.
While the subscription was cancelled, the company refused to refund the amount charged, citing their non-refundable policy, despite the lack of informed consent.
I recommend being extremely cautious with promotional offers that include automatic subscriptions.

You purchase something from them but then need a subscription to access it. That’s BS, highway robbery.

I found the platform on social media, advertised at a relatively low cost for a kids' development skill-set video. I signed up. Three days later, I saw a $39 charge on my credit card.
The worst part was cancelling the subscription. Question after question, step after step, and on top of that, I had to confirm my email just to unsubscribe. This is an educational platform — you need to be more careful and transparent in how you operate it.

Shady App
I paid for two programs that cost $1 USD each and then it automatically enrolled me into a monthly program and took me so many times to click through deceiving cancelation steps that try to trick you into not quitting the monthly fee. Also the two programs I bought weren’t helpful.
