I would like to share my feedback regarding the app experience. Unfortunately, I have been facing frequent issues while using the app. Whenever I try to complete any update or process, the app sometimes crashes unexpectedly. Additionally, after completing steps like OTP verification, I often receive an error message saying “Something went wrong, please try again later.”
Because of these repeated errors, I have to attempt the same process multiple times, and it becomes very frustrating. Currently, I am trying to update my mobile number, but the app crashes at the final step despite several attempts.
Considering that this app is used for important customer-related services, I request the team to improve its stability, performance, and error handling. A smoother and more reliable experience would greatly help users.

Useless App – Nothing Works Properly
First of all, the OTP system is a joke—either it doesn’t arrive or comes so late that the session expires. Even if you somehow manage to log in, the app is extremely slow, laggy, and crashes frequently.
Basic features like checking RC or DL details fail randomly, show errors, or keep loading forever. Sometimes the app just logs you out for no reason. It feels like there’s zero backend stability.
For an app that’s supposed to provide important legal documents digitally, this level of performance is unacceptable. Instead of making things easier, it wastes time and tests patience.
Clearly, there’s been poor development and even worse maintenance. Until serious fixes are made, this app is completely unreliable and not worth depending on.

Incompetent Developers - Endless Login Loop Disaster
This app is fundamentally broken at a basic functionality level. The MPIN expiry and reset flow is completely unusable. Every time I try to reset my MPIN, I enter a new PIN, verify with OTP, and instead of completing the process, I get a “session timeout” error. It then throws me back to the login screen, forcing me into an endless loop where I can neither reset my MPIN nor log in.
This is not a minor bug—this is a complete blocker that makes the app unusable. Something as critical as authentication should be the most stable part of any application, yet this fails repeatedly. It clearly shows a lack of proper testing and poor handling of session management.
Fix your basic logic before releasing updates. Right now, the app fails at the most essential function.

I cannot believe how poorly designed this app’s authentication system is. What should be a simple login process has turned into an infuriating experience that makes the app completely unusable.
Here’s what happens: After my session expired, the app prompted me to log in again. When I tried logging in with my credentials, I got an error message saying user already logged in, please try sign up. Following those instructions, I attempted to sign up, only to be told user already registered, please login. This creates an endless feedback loop with no resolution! I’m literally locked out of an app I’ve already registered for, with no way to access my account or data. The developers clearly didn’t test this basic functionality before releasing the app. Such a fundamental flaw in the login system makes me question the overall quality and security of the entire application.
I would give zero stars if possible. Fix this critical issue immediately or expect to lose more users.

Bribery at RTO
Bribery and corruption in RTOs of India is the main problem why these DL apps never work as intended. In this regard, the services of RTO, India stands right next to the likes of Pakistan and Syria. The app managing authority is forcing the app users to abandon using the mParivahan app and pay the private agents and the agencies that deal in RTO related work, so that the government officials too can get their cut out of it. GoI should dissolve all the state level RTOs and centralise them under a central government authority, so that people can apply directly with that central authority, upload their documents and make a fee payment to it and then the state level extension of that central authority can perform all the state RTO jobs in place of the present RTOs. Also make it illegal for the agents to do any RTO related job. Until then we will all have to pay 10x indirect bribes to the state government officials and indefinitely so.

Not Trustworthy
I am using this app since last 4 years. Initially it was working good but after the app was updated with new version, it started giving issues like Not able to login on first attempt or Not showing RC details for one of my vehicles.
and so on. Though these issues were fixed by the app team but still after some days these keep showing up. So you won’t be sure if all your details would be visible on the app.
Now the issue has become even worse, I am unable to login to the app at all. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it again still no luck.

Disappointing Update - NextGen App Issues
The previous version of the app worked perfectly fine, but this new update is an absolute disaster. After logging in, the app does not allow you to search for vehicle details. Every time you attempt to search, it says “session timed out, please log in again.” Even after re-logging in, the same error persists.
If the session is supposedly timed out, how is the app still retrieving user data? This is completely unacceptable for an app update. With a name like “NextGen,” it’s unclear which generation this app is supposed to cater to—certainly not ours. Please fix these issues or clarify which “generation” this update is meant for.

Unreliable, Full of Bugs.
This is a complete useless app. The very purpose of developing this app by Gov of India was to eliminate the need to carry physical Driving license card and vehicle Registration Certificate thereby enabling easy, fast, reliable and safe traveling with Digital copy of the same in an authorized app (as per the act of law). Easy for travelers as well easy for authorities in case the need arises to verify.
But this app most of the time never works as a result just not possible to rely on this app and travel thereby defeating the very purpose of this app. May be gov wants us to misplace license or lose it while travel or force to travel unsafe.

Unable to open app
Since more than a month I am not able to open this site. I don’t know it is happening only with me or with others too. This app is suppose to be authentic site on which traffic police also accepts but then with non working is creating inconvenienced to all I suppose. Request to rectify the short falls and put in operation as quick as possible as it serves useful site to all. I hope I should be able to get positive reply at earliest

Pathetic Update to the new UI
I would request you to roll back to the old UI. Post the new UI rollout it has got hell lotta bugs. This one not even works when you are out of network coverage area. If you have more than 2 vehicles in your list it randomly shows any 2 vehicle detail. And it keeps on notifying my DL nearing expiry and as per the actual, my DL has more than 10 yrs for expiring. Such a pathetic upgrade it was. Maybe the transport ministry has given tenders to unqualified software firms in exchange of their personal interest. 🙏i am fedup! I was hopping this to be fixed in a 2-3 post new UI deployments. But today even after more than 5 updates the bugs still persists!!

Lot of bug fixing needed
The app was working all fine and I was able to view the RC details for my all three vehicles however, since very recently, the app has started inadvertently crashing. I open the app, land on the home page and if I try to click anywhere on the home page, the app crashes and shuts down. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times but to no avail. Please fix these bugs since I have been solely relying on this app for showing RC, DL & PUC details during police check posts and had stopped carrying paperwork, but now I’m unable to use it anywhere. The other day I was stopped at a police check post and wasn’t able to produce any documents since the alp crashed every time I tried to access a document! Really put me in a tricky situation, had to call my brother with the documents, fortunately since it was not too far from my home!
