Bugs
It’s nice being able to enter rodeos through the app but it’s full of bugs. The app freezes every few seconds and more often than not I have to close the app completely and restart it. Really annoying when I try to see what’s coming up and want to set it to notify me when entries open and I have to keep restarting the app.

Unimpressed
I would give it zero stars if I could. This app is a joke and embarrassing to rodeo. Seems like every time I open the app it needs to be updated before I can proceed with what I was wanting to do. The navigation is confusing for finding results, live events and entering. It often glitches when I want to look at the draw or jumps back to the top when I’m scrolling through a draw. The fees to view a run are over priced and it’s not even from angles that are beneficial for my event 90% of the time. There are so many additional fees that depending on what the entry costs you may be paying an additional $75-100 on top of an already steep entry fee. Not to mention the numerous times I’ve been at an event and they are using the nexgen software and it crashes so they have to stop the event and get support. Calling tech support for issues on my end would be a waste of time too. Rodeo deserves better than whatever this app is.

I have few apps that perform better
Tried to watch performances at Oklahoma million dollar pit and Kimes performances could not even get back into Kimes the next day just not what I expect for $14.99 a month

The app is not working properly
Always updating!
Never fails. Every. Dang. Time I log on, the app has an update. Every time! It can be a couple days since the last login and there’s another update. So annoying.
Event pass problem
I purchased the IFYR event pass and each time I try to watch, I have to delete the app and reinstall it or it tells me I have to pay. I can’t even switch between arenas without being told I don’t have access. I emailed tech support and haven’t gotten a reply
Terrible
This app outta be canceled. I wish all producers would just use rodeo results, or just even go old school if they don’t want to pay for it. This app is way too glitchy and doesn’t like to work most of the time. With as long as it has been out you’d think it would run a whole lot better now but it’s still a joke.

Horrible!
Trying to watch last day of IPRA AND MRUSA crowning. Cannot sign in. Cannot get temp password, cannot reset password. No where to get help ! Too frustrating.
Getting better
Third year with this app and it’s getting better. Entry is still rough around the edges but live results are much better. I paid $20 for the event and it is frustrating that I can’t take screen shots of the barrel splits to send to my kid and her trainer. Would like to be able to save those.

Notification button STILL don’t work!
I haven’t had to use the app in almost a year and today I had to …unfortunate for me. I found out how lacking nextgen still is…. I can’t believe the notification button still does not work. The most awful app that barrel racers have to use to enter some of their events. Producers requiring this app should have to pay the contestants to use it.

Very glitchy and frustrating to use all week long.

You can’t see anything, it never updates right, results get carried over where they shouldn’t be.
Big Bang Barrel Race Rating
The live draw kept glitching which number was up and would save a random number at the top. It would have been nice to have the live results and not have to pay the subscription to see it. That should be a host package deal.
Awesome app but needs other breeds!
Doesn't recognize APHC (Appaloosa) as a breed so when used in a rodeo app cannot add any of the lineage or recognize her as a registered horse:( needs to recognize other breeds!
Not user friendly
Just used this app for the first time at a week long barrel race. App was only good to see where they were in the draw, results that were finalized never loaded properly and kept defaulting to results earlier in the week and needing to pay $25 to see live results is odd. I am not confident that the live results would have worked had I paid the $25 based off how the app performed for everything else. I have used other apps that work much better than this one.

Big Bang 2024
Awesome app to have on hand for draws & results. Saves phone battery & data by not having to be following a live stream for the draw & is quick and easy to go into for what draw they’re on when you’re back at trailers. Would have liked to have been able to see live results without having to pay as this is the only event I utilized this for this year but that’s ok.

NextGen Rodeo
I use the NextGen Rodeo App from the producer side and have not found anything better! It is user friendly and easy to see entry names and contact information. If an issue arises, their customer service is top notch! This is an all in one app that ties in your scoring, results and video board production. One of the best things to happen to the rodeo industry for entering and producing events!

Great App
I love the app, I feel that it is user-friendly. If I can figure it out, I know that anyone can. I also use the system as a barrel racing producer and the program has streamlined our entries, paperwork, draw, and webcast. Their customer service is EXCELLENT!!
