About
Other apps record what you did. Nextset prescribes what comes next.
You finish a set, report the RPE, and the app recalculates the load for your next set from the strength you have today — not from a percentage decided weeks ago in a spreadsheet.
THE SCREEN IS THE WEIGHT
The main view is not a log form. It is one large card showing the weight that goes on the bar right now, the plates you need per side, the target reps and RPE, and one line explaining exactly where that number came from.
BUILT ON THE RPE CHART
Load is derived from reps-in-reserve, using the standard RPE to %1RM relationship. Half-RPE values interpolate. Sets too far from failure to be reliable return no estimate at all, because a plausible wrong number is worse than no number.
PLATE MATH THAT WORKS
Every prescribed load is rounded to something you can actually build with your bar and your plates, and the card shows the breakdown per side. Set your bar weight and your smallest plate, in kilograms or pounds.
READINESS AT A GLANCE
Your best estimated 1RM from each of the last three training days becomes your baseline. Today gets compared against it, so you can see whether you are up, down, or on par before you commit to the session.
WARM-UPS STAY OUT
Warm-up sets are saved to your log but never feed the estimate.
PROGRESS OVER TIME
Estimated 1RM per exercise, charted by training day.
34 BARBELL MOVEMENTS
Squat, bench, deadlift and overhead press come ready. Add competition and variation lifts from the built-in catalog, or name your own.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No login. No servers. Everything stays on your iPhone.
