Donāt waste your time or money
If I could give this 0 stars I would. My previous account was locked without warning, and when I went to open a new one, the website is impossible to work, thereās always a problem and customer service is absolutely clueless of how to by pass their own errors.
Iāve been trying to get this ticket for 3 months and each agent told me the issue was something different. Today I noticed that even though my account doesnāt exist, they still charged my credit card. I tried the login and guess whatā-still doesnāt exist but my money is gone. I had to dispute with my bank just to get my money back. Smh. This is only beneficial when you have their entire tv service, which is the goal.

Not bad if your a college student
This is my first year using this service. Iām a college student so I pay the college pricing and important note I have Xfinity internet and cable not direcTV. The first 2 weeks of using this service I was streaming it off my Xbox series x on a wired connection with gigabit internet and both weeks the service stopped working mid way through the games. At first I thought it was my internet but quickly realized it was something on direcTVs end as other customers were complaining about a similar issue. I did end up getting refunded for both weeks so thatās a plus. Week 3 was much better and really showed me the potential of this service if your a big football fan like me. Itās important to note that you will not be able to watch any local games so keep that in mind. I still have to use my cable service to watch local and prime time games. And beware once u sign up your locked in for the rest of the yearā¦. Thereās no cancellation. I give it a 3/5 stars because it does show its issues at times but for the price as a student thereās a lot of value here when it works properly. Now if your paying the full 300 or 400 a year you may find yourself unsatisfied

Where to Start
This 1-star review is less about the app, and more about the overall experience of the NFL SundayTicket. The only reason I put myself through this headache is to watch the Broncos while living in Pennsylvania. Customer support, app functionality, cost, and restrictions (blackouts) are all 1/5 stars. I canāt believe the NFL allows SundayTicket to botch this service without stepping in to make it easier to watch out of market games. Itās week 3 of the 2022 season and I still canāt log in to my account and access the service despite hours of troubleshooting and waiting on hold just to be transferred to someone who cannot resolve the issue.

This is the absolute worst app of all time, paid all this money for a service that cuts out for half of Sundayās games each week. I hope directv loses all their rights after this season. I also spent 2 hours on Sunday trying to get to customer service but they continued to hang up on me and when I finally got through the guy said he couldnāt help me and that Sunday ticket has a different customer service number and I asked him for the number and he gave it to me and it was literally the number I was calling on. Nobody should get this app and everyone who has bought this this season should get a refund or prorated from all the games we missed. Absolute trash app, trash customer service, and they donāt give a crap about the consumer at all!!

Terrible this year
Week 1 it kept telling me it couldnāt play my game because I was in or near a stadium (I was not) or because the game was broadcasting locally (it was not). Now in week 2, it worked for the first 30 minutes or so, and then it started cutting out and telling me there was a casting problem. Rebooted TV, restarted app, etc. Problem persisted, but then it wouldnāt even load on my phone (not casting to TV) no matter how many times I close and relaunch the app. Turning off my wifi and trying to use cell data isnāt working either. Also not loading if I try on a computer. This is awful. Did not have these problems in the past.

Pointless
Doesnāt recognize my login even though I can login online to directv. No one seems to know why as Iāve been trying to have this fixed for over a week. Keep getting referred to new people and starting the process over with zero actual solutions. Go ahead save your money and wait a year, it wonāt be through directv next year! :)

How does this app have a high rating?
This is one of the worst apps Iāve ever experienced. The app is complete trash and to make it worse, so is the website and when you think it canāt get any worse, wait till you attempt to use their customer service. Thereās so much wrong with it, too much to write, but if you want to know, check out the hashtag for SundayTicket on twitter. Iāve used this app for 5 years, and it seems to just get worse. DirecTV is only in business because of Sunday Ticket, but fear not, Sunday Ticket will leave DirecTV in 2023 meaning DirecTV will finally go out business. Nobody is installing satellites on their homes anymore. Donāt even try customer service, itās a joke, you will waste literal hours on a phone to listen to someone read off scripted responses which will ultimately leave you with no solutions and more frustration.

Whole platform is broken first week of the nfl? What a joke.
I signed up for an account with Sunday ticket last year and it was the perfect solution to watching the New York giants from the Midwest. Really didnāt have any problems with the platform whatsoever.
This year, my account is supposed to auto renew and get me right back into the action for the 2022 seasonā¦.instead of spending the day enjoying my first nfl Sunday in a long time im spending hours on the phone with customer support trying to figure out why I canāt get into the app AT ALL. not on a phone laptop or smart tv.
The platform has one job. Right now direct tv has my $80 dollars this month and I have ZERO service on my end. Iām beyond outraged and pray for the day that the streaming rights go to a real company with the support and infrastructure to keep customers happy. -5 stars.

Terrible and lousy customer support
They make sure they automatically renew your subscription and take your money but they donāt have any support. I started the new year out at my sonās soccer game and was excited to watch the first Panther game. I put on the app and Iām blacked out of watching the Carolina v Cleveland game itās says ā It looks like youāre in or near the stadium ā so Iām blacked out. So I call for assistance and despite my request for US assistance I get transferred to the Philippines. As usual they canāt help me and refuse to transfer me to the US operators. When I insist I tell the guy I want customer rentention because I want to cancel my account because you wonāt transfer me and canāt help me. I close with now donāt disconnect me like you usually do. Like clockwork guess what happens, they disconnect me. YOU SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED!!!! AT&T SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED FOR BEING ASSOCIATED WITH YOU!!!

Slowly declining
Overall, itās still a solid app to watch out of market games. As far as the app itself, itās simple to use and works well most of the time.
The service is another story. Year after year Iāve lost functions the app uses to have, such as watching on 2 screens and being able to watch multiple games at once. Very disappointing considering weāre losing benefits but still paying the same.

Cannot log back in!!!
This is the second Sunday in a row that I cannot log back in after I log out! Customer service was not helpful. After being on the phone for 1.5 hours of trying to help and putting me on hold, I hung up. Then mid week I was able to log back in! Now I logged off of my phone to log into my TV and itās saying Iām not recognized. I hate it! An update: I wrote this last year. Today, I tried to call because I was having trouble again. I could log in on my home computer, logged out to run some errands. Tried to log into the app and said I needed to update the application. Did that and now it says my account is not recognized! I hate it. Another update: you should be able to log in from anywhere. It should automatically log you out of an app, like my TV, so I can log into the app on my phone. Instead, it says user not recognized. Itās infuriating!

Great Service, my request for improvement!
Iāve had NFL Sunday ticket online now the last 3 season via the Apple TV app. Very difficult to navigate, no instructions for features to bring up replace games. My biggest gripe is you canāt sign in with local cable subscriber to bring up games it says are blacked out that I can watch right on my tv if I switch over to cable. Please add this feature to prevent the back and forth for those that pay for cable to see these games as well, NBA app offers it! And a digital controls manual for each device you can use it on. Great service and flawless streams highly recommend, just my input for my 2 biggest gripes!

Does the job
This app has very few flaws, so my issue doesn't lie with the app itself. The issue is greedy DTV. The only way you can get only Sunday ticket is if you're a student or out of service area of DTV. A couple years ago this wasn't the case. If you could still just buy Sunday ticket, there'd be no issue; however, the fact that you have to meet one of the above criteria or have DirecTV to get Sunday ticket is good for DirecTV, but bad for the consumer wanting only Sunday ticket. In sum, I think DTV being greedy is driving down their bottom line. No one is paying for DTV just to get Sunday ticket.

SD option please?
Iāve never had a problem with loggin or watching games on this app- itās been a good an experience as I could hope for on my phone. However, I really wish that I had an option to watch with lower video quality- at least when not connected to wifi. I try to monitor my data usage so that I am not throttled by the end of my billing period. Also it is often not worth it to me to go through buffering with an adjustable stream. I would rather watch a consistent stream at a lower quality when watching on a mobile device.

App is total garbage. Canāt switch games due to errors.
This app is the worst. A total waste of time. Incredibly frustrating. Canāt switch games due to erroneous blackout error messages, when those games are not locally broadcast (so not subject to blackout rules). This happens every week with out of market games. Itās getting so bad that when I can finally get my teamās game to load, I donāt switch off of it to watch other games on commercial breaks, fully expecting that my game wonāt load when I come back to it. Last week, I couldnāt even get to the games as it was stuck on the menu and I couldnāt select ANY of the games. This is an embarrassment for the NFL and for fans. This is a waste of an expensive subscription too. The league has to do something about this terrible app, if DirecTV wonāt. The sad thing is that when it does work properly, itās easy to use and intuitive (Iām using it on an Apple TV 4K). DirecTV used to be the best for watching NFL games, but now itās proving that itās the worst.

Absolute waste of money
Canāt even log onto the app. Reset the password, no luck. Called customer support as recommended by the app. A recording answered informing me of an extremely long wait time and suggested that I go to their website. I have dealt with this company for years and it is by far the most frustrating business I have ever dealt with. Not only does this app not work, I canāt even get DirecTv technicians to show up at my house. They called me several times and told me that they were on their way, but never made it to my house . I hope the NFL cuts all ties with this company and sells their product directly to the costumer or partners with another streaming network.

Decent. Good as a student
First of all, some of yāall are stupid. It says before you sign up that it only shows out of market games. Secondly, download the fantasy app or the nfl app and you can watch all the IN market games for free. Ta-da. now you have all the games. The app itself kinda eh but the pc version is good. As a student I pay like 30 a month for it. Wouldnāt pay any more than that though. Unless Iām on wifi the app doesnāt let me watch anything which is kinda stupid considering I have 5G. Generally Iām on a 2 hour drive home Sunday around noon so I miss a lot more than Iād like to miss but itās tolerable Bc itās only 30 a month. If I log in on my girlfriends phone it works though, so thatās just, annoying. Latest iOS & everything. Overall itās okay but donāt expect the perfect experience

Why wont the NFL allow me to buy a single game?
The NFL business model is perhaps the dumbest ever. They (via their deal with DirectTV) makes me spend $300 or so with the value prop that I can watch every game. Problem is I don't care about every game. I care about the Seahawks and that's it. The ONLY way I can watch every Seahawks game (in LA) is with this archaic app and overpriced subscription that forces me to logon EVERY time on my Apple TV, with only one device at a time. It's an horrible customer experience bc of this app for anyone out of state. But bigger deal: It wastes a massive opportunity for the NFL to sell each game to everyday people who would buy the ability to see their fav team on a per game basis, while still respecting blackouts. Please evolve NFL and use your brains. And please DirectTV, fix this app so it logs on each time on AppleTV.

Nfl Sunday ticket deserves to not be with direct tv
Doesnāt support Xbox series x or any console before it and doesnāt support Samsung TVs. It also doesnāt support airplay. Could someone please take this service away from direct tv and give us a product that actually functions year to year. Every year I have to find some run around just to get this app to work on any of my devices. I pay less for Netflix and it works all year and always stays up to date. This app runs from September to February and always crashes and never plays. Direct tv u should be ashamed of yourself with how much u price gouge ur consumers and how much actual support u even give. Btw direct tv is a detestable company to work for so please donāt work for them either. Theyāll sell ur whole family just to turn a profit.
