Gate Function
This gate system is good only up to the point that there’s no warranty left on it. I’ve replaced the system now three times. Shame on me next time it’ll be something way different. Either it doesn’t stay connected remotely and or keypads or remote fobs. Don’t work consistently constantly having to figure out what’s going on and make changes. I will say that their technical department is available and helpful, but it doesn’t make the gate system work any better. I’ll be shopping for another brand. Please feel free to respond to me if you’re interested.

Orphaned Linear Pro Access
This app doesn’t work right with Linear systems. Can’t schedule or change an existing schedule. Customer service is non existent.
So many issues
I’m stuck with this! Press open, gate opens. But, then the app says it is still closed! I spend 10-20 min opening/closing the app before it finally registers that the gate is open, & I can close it. Then there are the connectivity issues! Half the time I get “try again”.

There’s something messed up with this app where it recognizes the home screen being pulled up as a touch on the “open garage” button. This happens every single time the app’s home screen is shown across three different phones.

Works great when it’s working , Apple CarPlay compatible would be great
This app works great when it is working. I am using it to control a mule gate opener. It seems like the WiFi module gets disconnected often. I have to power it down and turn it back on to reconnect. I wish it was Apple CarPlay compatible. It would be nice to control the gate or garage door from the vehicle infotainment system.

App is Glitchy
The App is full of glitches. If I open the door with the app, it will indicate door opening but will not recognize that the door fully opened. Another words, the App gets stuck in the “opening” mode and will not let you then close the door using the app. Same thing happens when you close the door with the App. Very frustration. Tried to uninstall and reinstall the controllers but it did not help the problem. Another glitch I experienced is when the App thinks there is something blocking the beam but there is nothing there. It will not close the door remotely and requires you to push the wall button to close the door. Again, what good is a smart App if you cannot control the garage doors remotely. Again, very frustrating. Called Nice technical support and the person would not say that the there was a problem but kept saying that maybe it would be fixed in the next update. My question over and over is how can something be fixed if it’s not an issue. Tech support would not admit there was an issue but only would say, “it should be fixed in the next update.” I would not by a Linear door opener that uses the Nice app. Try Liftmaster or another brand. Friends have the Liftmaster and it works great. So want this opener and App to work but it does not look like it will be reliable using the App, anytime soon.

This Wi-Fi gate opener app works great with the mighty mule gate opener. I deducted one star because after lightning storms I sometimes have to reset the app to get it to work again cause it’s like an electrical current or something disrupts the signal between the unit and the remote base in the house. Other than that works flawlessly. Love getting a delivery and I may be away from the home and being able to open up for the delivery person without having to be home. Overall awesome app.

Reliable gate opener. Phone interface is a bit clunky but works. Would buy it again.

Not reliable
This is my 5th Mighty Mule over the past 30+ years (at 2 locations) Bought this one to get the remote control capability (via my cell phone). It tends to go “off line” unexpectedly when I am away. It also tends to stop (obstructed) when nothing present to obstruct. The force setting is at max (3). The gate is on lubed bearing hinges, & weight is half the opener rating. When disconnected from opener, gate swings freely. The open and closed positions could both be adjusted on previous openers. This one can only be adjusted for closed position; Which makes it slam hard against the open support post, then bounce about a foot from the post. In terms of reliability and user adjustment capability, this is by far worse than my previous MM openers, and based upon actual experience, probably my last MM. I have spent a lot of time on phone with MM techs; No solution. Based upon this experience I will not use, recommend or approve purchase this product.

App sucks
You can not set the door to close automatically. When you try it may work once but if you ever have to use it or if you ever have an obstruction your close after setting zeros out. What good is it to be able to set your door to close at a certain time every day but you can’t set it to close automatically and rely on it. Before I had to change to this app I set my door to close after 5 minutes and it worked perfectly and since this app it’s barely working at best. I have to set it daily to make sure it is going to close if and when I forget to close it. Very frustrating and inconvenient at best.

Absolutely atrocious
Have tried to migrate from the Linear app for hours and it won’t connect to my WiFi or update the firmware so it’s basically unusable. Wish I could have just stuck with the old app that worked perfectly fine. Wish I could give it 0 stars.
