Major problem
Iāve been using this app for years now and Iāve been having this issue where every few months it wonāt let me log my seizures. Itāll let me open the app, but as soon as I click the ā+ā to log it, the app immediately closes on its own. It would be nice if they could figure out this issue so I could continue to use the app. (I have no clue if anyone else has this problem or not)

Keeps crashing
The app has recently been crashing every time we try to log a seizure. Is anyone else having this problem?
Useless, donāt bother using
I wrote to the support team last May 2025 asking why I could no longer log my meds, then a couple of weeks ago I asked why I couldnāt log my seizures and have been ignored.
Loss of prescription tracking
It would appear that the last update eliminated my ability to track all but one of my meds and that one is for blood pressure. I can no longer track my seizure meds and I canāt even reenter them because the program wonāt accept any āfrequencyā information. The update is absolutely useless and so far, so is customer service.

I like it ā¦..
I like this app and I love that I can connect my care team to it, but I wish there was better options to edit. Sometimes I donāt remember to put things in the app right away, I write it down. But the app only lets me go back and edit a few weeks. Also for some reason the side effects options keeps disappearing for me to log anything. I typically keep track of my migraines using that option.

Canāt log seizures since update
This has been a solid app since I downloaded it after the Epilepsy Foundation got rid of their tracker. But ever since 12/15/25 I havenāt been able to log any seizuresāthe app crashes.

With the latest update the app crashes every time you try and log anything. Tried contacting support but no one gets back to you. Disappointing as until now this app has been fantastic
Read the terms and conditions. Unlimited use of all your phone information.
I thought to take a moment to glance at the terms of conditions. Itās wild. They want to use any data from your phone at their sole discretion. It even says they donāt recognize international law! I skipped.
Some issues
Overall I like the app. But Iāve found thereās no way to delete seizures you have tracked. I did a test one to show my husband and now I canāt delete it so itās on our sons record. Itās also not the best for myoclonic seizures/clusters. If my son has a cluster of 30 Iād like to be able to say that instead of having to track it 30 times over.

So far so good!
Iāve only been using this app for a couple of days and I really like it!! Helpful with logging my meds and symptoms/side effects.
Really cool and efficient butā¦
This could be a specific me problem but, every time I fill out the medical portion (like, filling out the medications I take, my neurologist, etc), it doesnāt save. Iāve donāt it like 4 times. Any one else having this problem? Itās extremely frustrating. Itād be a 5 star app if I werenāt having this problem.

Only one problem
If you accidentally touch āmissed doseā or another problem by accident, thereās no way to go and undo it, itās stuck on your calendar forever.

Not yet a comparable replacement for My Seizure Diary
1) You cannot delete entries.
2) You cannot independently enter and track rescue medicine use.
3) If you report an aura, it gets counted as a seizure in the tracker.
4) No web version.
5) There is a bug that changes the entry date when you edit a seizure entry.
Plus side- support team is so far helpful.
IMO this needed more beta testing before

What???
This app has some problems.
- the App Store says it is more than 4 years old. Thatās weird since the company supposedly started in 2021
- the app uses a word āauraā which is not recommended by the international league against epilepsy
- signing into the app I already agreed to not only share my private info but also to have providers make appointments for me. What???
- the app allows me to record seizures that I have IN ThE FuTURE
- why canāt I put the time of my seizure?
- the default birthday for some reason is 20 years before today. Why?
- the app asks survey questions including about suicidality but does nothing if I say that I am suicidal
- the app allows made up medication names with up to 8x per day dosing and does not seem to mind if I miss my meds
- the app will contact the doctor to enter information about me. What if I donāt agree either the doctor?
- this company was clearly funded by UCB who contrived 29 million dollars. Why donāt I see mention of that little disclosure anywhere?
- what exactly will Nile do with my information? Will they use it to figure out how to better advertise the most expensive drugs to my doctor?
- what control do I have over my data?

Guilt by Association
Because you are partnered with the epilepsy foundation, I know what this app is for. Everyone read before you sign!!! They just got a huge CDC grant for a database, but each chapter of EF uses Salesforce. Make sure you have them sign something so they donāt have everyoneās info for their emails and medical info isnāt inputted into their donor database system.

Easy to log seizures - GET IT. USE IT.
Nile is a long-awaited type of app for me. Once the seizure is past, pull out your phone (that is small and always with you) and log it while it is as fresh in the mind as possible. It is so easy to log my seizures, I love it! As a beta tester, I had time to look for flaws. The Nile developers did an excellent job! When you log a seizure, you are given the option to make the aspects of the seizure a default selection. Name your common ones and you can flag multiple aspects with a single tap! Logging the time is easy as there are morning, midday, evening, and night (not overly specific clock times).
You are given a bar chart mapping how many seizures you logged each day over the past week. You can look at numbers for the past month (and three months) too.
The fact that Nile can send results to your neurologist gives your doctor details before your appointment. Do what you can to get that set up to save appointment time for everyone.
Put Nile to use! You will be happy you did.
