About
Nile Fields: Rope Stretchers turns the oldest job in geometry into a friendly two-player duel. Every year, the Nile flooded and washed the farm boundaries away — so Egypt's royal "rope stretchers" re-measured the fields with a knotted rope. In this game, your child becomes one of them.
Each round, both surveyors get the same knotted rope — that rope is the fence around your plot (its perimeter). The clever part: one rope makes many different fields. A rope of 12 can fence a 1×5, a 2×4, or a 3×3 — same rope, different harvest! Pick your rectangle, stake it on the shared field, and claim the most squares to win.
AREA & PERIMETER KIDS CAN FEEL
• Every turn is a shape choice: same perimeter, different area — the big idea, made playful
• Each card shows the math live: 2 × 4 = 8 squares
• Hints mode stars the biggest field and shows what still fits
A REAL HEAD-TO-HEAD DUEL
• You and your rival share the same rope each round — plan your rectangle to box them out
• Fields fill up, gaps get tight, and a rope that's too big simply folds smaller — no one is stuck
• Most squares claimed wins; the starting surveyor alternates, so it's always fair
TWO WAYS TO PLAY
• 2-player pass-and-play on one device — every board is free
• Solo vs a friendly computer starts on the small Garden field; the bigger Field & Delta boards (palm-tree obstacles + a smarter computer) are the one-time solo unlock
MADE FOR FAMILIES
• Free to play: full 2-player game + Solo Garden, forever
• One optional one-time unlock (Solo Field & Delta) behind a parental gate — no ads, no subscriptions, no consumables
• 100% offline gameplay — no Wi-Fi needed
• No accounts. No data collected. Ever.
• Warm, hand-illustrated Ancient-Egypt art
• Plays in 11 languages: English, 中文, हिन्दी, Español, العربية, Français, বাংলা, Português, Bahasa Indonesia, Tiếng Việt, اردو
