Simple and satisfying

I remember playing nimian hunter when I was I little girl and a deep dive into it lead me here, I’m glad I found this! It’s simple but good fun, a game you can chill out with , it has a nostalgic feel and I loved exploring the open world

So good!

It’s so good, but it is short and you finish it felling you’ve only played level 1. Quality over quantity though. That said, I’d be keen to see more chapters.

I’m writing this review years after I played it. Possibly 8 years. A long time anyway. It’s that good and memorable.

Love this game!!

I remember playing the lite version many many years ago when I was still in high school, and I loved exploring the open world. Now as an adult coming back to this open world adventure is so nostalgic and it’s amazing how much the game has evolved! Imo still one of the most beautiful open world games on the app store

Thank you! I am working on an expansion area for BrightRidge called GreenWeald, and it is a more forested and hilly area. Also i am working hard on the sequel Vandgels - a story of faith set in remote snowy mountains, so i hope you will stay tuned for that too. controls are awful but nice game.

playing the game needs more instructions.

Does not work

Have to reboot iphone 14 just to get it to start. Then the controller works for 5 seconds then stops. Not worth the trouble, other games work fine.

Beautiful game

Like the others by this developer the game is beautiful and entertaining. It’s a great escape into another world. Graphics are superb. Plus uniquely it can be very relaxing as you can roam free through the world unmolested if you want to. Glad I found it!

Beautiful game that a 4 year old can play

This is one of the few big world where my 4 year old child can play. She can't read yet, but she is able to follow the markers that guides her where to go next. I love this idea! There aren't many grand games that a child can play. Highly recommended for parents!

Total Disappointment

This game is described as Open world….think again, follow this arrow, go there, do this do that, gave up after playing for about half an hour….Don’t waste your money on this, like I did, should be a way to get a refund, because of its bad description

Stopped working and didn’t save progress…

Wanted something relaxing and open world so this looked like the kind of thing I’d like. However, after a couple of hours I don’t like the constant orange icon to tell you where to go and all actions are just done for you. There is nothing to do other than walking into the next orange icon.. then after doing a few things with ‘Bot’ and ‘defeating’ the boss, I got thrown out and nothing has saved.

Not relaxing just kind of annoying.

flawless on iphone xs

best customization and all over a great app. no crashes for me. id be willing to buy a newer app from you if graphics are improved further.. i already got this and wilderless. make one for 2022 and if it surpasses these apps make it 4.99 ill pay! lol

Gorgeous but unplayable without controller

I’m about fifteen minutes into the game (iPad Pro 12.9) and struggling like crazy trying to collect the first items guarded by ‘monsters’. Rando walks slowly. I can’t get him to run at more than a jog, or jump reliably. It’s maddening. I would love to play more but don’t think it’s possible for me to successfully retrieve the items needed with the controls the way they are. I’ve fiddled with them and nothing seems to work. I can’t imagine how difficult further challenges would be. Any advice would be gratefully accepted.

If you haven't yet try Options-COntrols-touchpad look on. Thats usually the one that is the most helpful for people. The controls were an issue for a lot of people and its because of feedback like this that I made sure importing the controls for my new game Wilderless was a priority, so I appreciate teh feedback because I read all of it and eventually it makes its way into my games. If you have a controller it supports many of them. You need to connect the controller before you start the game. That aside the main options that control how the controls work and the camera are in Options-Controls and Options-Camera. And thank you for giving me 2 stars instead of 1 even with the issues. Its just me working here and every star helps me reach more people and its a great way to support my efforts to make more and better games, so I appreciate that.

Seriously lol

I understand people want money but the way you went about it is kinda deceiving the buyers for 3$ you could of made it a 2hrs game play. It was less then 20mins of action not bad though your a intriguing developer but with all the others out there, I don’t doubt your give them a run for the money. I played love&tin will check out the other one a later time. But keep at it thumbs up

Thanks for playing and for the feedback. The second story Ballad of BrightRidge is longer than Love and Tin (which was the second story I added but I put it first because of how it fits in the timeline). I will keep trying to improve my games and I am grateful for the support:)
