A nice surprise.
I went into playing this totally blind, and found myself engrossed in the story. The world is very imaginative, and although the subject matter isn’t necessarily the deepest or insanely profound, it’s very much worth thinking about sincerely and critically. I love the imagination put on display here. Everything in the world is interesting. I cannot praise the atmosphere enough. Glad I stumbled upon this game!

I'm glad you stumbled on it too😸 and I'm thrilled you like the story. It's a slow but I tried to focus on the characters to keep it relatable. And the discussion of religion and faith is something I was interest in talking about. The world itself is Nimia a world I made when I was a kid, and a lot of the characters have been in my mind for a long time so it was great to be able to bring them to life. I just finished the game, and while I was unsure of it at the very beginning, i was soon enjoying it.
Developer did a great job here, his world is well drawn, imaginative, and submersive as you continue following the story.
So, this was imaginative and refreshing. The story is the centerpiece; game play is follow the story; any fighting along the way is in service to the story.
I enjoyed, is a great counterpoint to the endless games of basically boring nothing fight & grind. No grind here.
I think total game play is several hours or more, depending on the player. There is a beginning and end.
Anyway, I give high marks for its artistry, being interesting, imaginative story, no grind, and no in game issues - I liked it a lot 👍👍👍

RPG系全く興味ないけど世界観が綺麗でダウンロード。グラフィック設定高めだと日差しや水面が美しい。 しかしやっぱり戦闘やお使いが苦手で『Wilderless』に移動。『Nimian』もお散歩だけできるけど微妙に違うので。 けどココの『プライバシーポリシー』→ RobさんのWeb →Lore →登場人物紹介のプロパガンダ風ポスターがカッコイイのでいつかゲーム中でお会いしたい。 『MAP』ではNimiaの世界観がかなり把握できます、少し操作難だけど。 『Artbook』もあってこんなに素敵な世界観が広がってるのにmushroomキャラにひたすらついて行く遊びしかしてない自分は損してると思う。動物可愛いっス。

Indescribably amazing game ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This game is so amazing! I just downloaded and haven’t played much, but I couldn’t wait to rate it. The setting, landscape, music, and story are all amazing, though I haven’t finished yet. I love the option of dungeonette and explorateur mode, and the fact that you can customize every thing about the world. I especially love the filters! It was more expensive than most games I downloaded but it was worth every cent and more, I’m surprised it was only 4 dollars. This game deserves to win awards and it’s honestly unbelievable that a single person did this. It’s better than most of the games I’ve played, made by a whole big group of people. Keep up the good work! This game is amazing!
P.S.: I had to come back because i didn’t realize the sheer depth of this world, the preview doesn’t do it justice. Did you know you can read the books in the library for information about the world?

Control issue but fantastic open world
IPad control is difficult; only issue. I love the free roam!!! Incredible views. Wonderful hidden caves and caverns. How did you create so much range/space with so much detail? Wow! I was able to solve all ten trials and can shift-change to the other creatures. Sure beats walking! Look forward to more. Thanks!

Open world it is not….follow the arrows, do as your told, go here go there….follow the arrows….end up in a pit you can’t get out of….should be a way to get a refund…..should not be allowed to be called an open world game…I want a refund

Love this game and all your work so far Robert. BrightRidge was my first game of yours I tried and loved it, but finished everything their was to do too quickly. Vandgels is even better with more space to explore, more shapes to shift into and just so much more of everything with the same beautiful design and great music tracks for different areas. I love all of your work so far and look forward to your next project. I will likely buy anything you release if you keep putting out games of this quality. Keep up the good work!

Nice looking game
Picked this up as I saw the sale. It seems quite nice so far but visually and controls the other game wilderness looks and controls much better.
I presume wilderness is the newer game so I would recommend picking that up over this one.

Yet another great game from Robert
I finally got round to play this game as I’ve played the others from this series, another beautiful game. No one has made games like this one on the App Store, exploration, mystery, some minimal combat ( I don’t like much combat) lovely soundtrack and of course a great story, my only complaint was it was tricky getting the angles right in one of the battles involving the bird to shoot correctly, some issues switching to the correct weapon for combat, but it’s nothing really compared to. My one recommendation more save options would be useful thanks again :)

They’re incredible! The developer takes care to create engaging environments with challenges that are interesting without being impossible and of course there’s the explorer option for those who just want to stroll, gallop or fly through mythical lands
The only thing I would add is more tasks todo
There are two main tasks but once you’ve done those you either replay them or free roam which gets a tad boring after a whole
But on the whole it’s a 5 ⭐️ game

SO worth it
This should be on the switch for at least 30 or more bucks. That’s the type of game this is. I’m on the iPhone 11 Pro Max and I can almost max all the settings but not quite. A 12 or 13 should be able to crank every setting. It kinda feels a lot like a ps3 final fantasy, with the same type of love for the environments and music shown

Robert my man, you sir, are an amazing developer... this game is a rare gem that I have been looking for in the App Store for quite some time. I have searched and searched hard to find a game I can put money into and not regret it after and I was about ready to give up, but then I searched open world games and found your series of games and I absolutely love them! Beautiful, polished, able to change graphical settings, doesn’t heat up my phone, never had a crashing problem, fun, and most of all very imaginative and creative. It is hard to find a game with all of that but you hit all the marks. I can’t say this enough but fantastic job... I can tell the love of what you do behind the game when I play it.
