It’s great to have some control on game time and make sure they are not playing games that are not for their age.
Useless for parents & children.
It cannot block specific apps, restrict downloads or anything useful.
The whole Nintendo ecosystem is unnecessarily complex for how useless it all is. Download if you want to block screenshot sharing.

Very easy to use and set up. Even removing a device if they get it replaced.
Bed time secured!
I am enjoying this app. My son has autism and bed time is a nightmare. Even when putting an alarm to signal his bedtime routine. After getting the Yoshi game he has been more difficult to get off. Then I realized I had this app and set a time for it to stop letting him play. I love that it has a five minute timer and reminds him at 4 mins, then 3 mins, etc until it’s shut off. So helpful for a child with autism and there is no arguing. It’s a simple her you go and away it’s put to charge. Thank you, thank you!!

Great control provided but…
I love the simplicity and the speed at which changes are applied. However, I believe the ability to queue updates until a child’s console connects online would be preferable to the less than friendly error message. 🙂

Very helpful, lots of data to help track useage. My favorite features is that it locks when the time is up, no matter what my kid is in doing in the game. Saves me from having to deal with him going “just let me do one more thing.” Glorious!
Some control, but not enough
There needs to be a way to set different restrictions for different users, track time AND the ability to lock it, not one or the other. And there should be passwords or pins available to set up for each child’s account.
Good with one problem
The app works as intended but it is not able to limit time for multiple children like Xbox app. That’s the reason for 4 stars.
Good if only one child
Controls and setting an interface are all great! I’ve only one issue but it’s a huge one - the controls and tracking and limitations only apply to the switch as a whole. If you have more than one child, each with their own profile, then these controls are next to useless. It’ll be great to be able to track each child’s time limitations separately.

There are just No words as to how AMAZING NINTENDO Created such an App! That As a Parent I sooo desperately NEEDED! It goes BEYOND my expectations! When that Parental Control was CREATED YOU CAN SEE that ALL THEY had in their minds was how to 1) Protect our Children and 2) To HELP Parents take Control of what our kids are getting into and also being able to use the system as a Reward system! There’s so much more but I’ll be here all day

Brilliant control
This app offers control for parents who have kids playing the console. I like that I can control my kids screen time and how long he can play, I can even extend his play for the day if he’s been a good kid. Highly recommended for parents
Great for managing kid time
Works really well for managing kid play time. It would be nice if we could limit by profile but that doesn’t exist on the main system anyway so for shared family devices you just have to do more manual management.
Great to have - could be better!!
This app was deciding factor in getting a switch. The timer gives the kids good warnings and they are generally very accepting when the time is up.
I just wonder how much this was tested with real families before launch!
Improvements please…
1. Add a 5 minute button - no matter if timer has 30 mins to go or time limit is off for the day having the ability to easily opt for 5 more minutes would be very easy for families when for example dinner is ready or we are leaving the house!
2. Can be buggy - says consol isn’t connected to the internet, when it’s always docked.
3. Interface and UI could be simpler and cleaner - I’m always a little lost when opening it - really all we need to see is how long left, and how long we want to add, or remove.
4. Easily turn the time limit back on after you’ve turned it off for the day!
