Notifications subject to subscription
If they send out a notification, especially an emergency it should not be subject to subscription.

The app had been very slow and unreliable. It now works well.
Locks up
Times out and locks up. Fails to recognize my login.
Useless app unless you pay…
Now you have to pay to read all your articles.
No worries once I get a notification from the app about an article that catches my interest I just go to the internet and search and get updated that way (unless it’s something very local to the state then I don’t even bother).
