Locks up

Times out and locks up. Fails to recognize my login.

Useless app unless you pay…

Now you have to pay to read all your articles.

No worries once I get a notification from the app about an article that catches my interest I just go to the internet and search and get updated that way (unless it’s something very local to the state then I don’t even bother).

Sits behind a paywall

Sits behind $150 paywall it ain’t worth it. There’s other apps in the App Store that are free.

New Sign In Trouble

With the new system I am logged out automatically. Signing back is does not work well. It’s a real headache. Don’t make me cancel.

Horrible app

I have to try three or four times to open the app. The app is so poorly organized.

This app sucks!

This app is absolutely horrible No article is free anymore. Everything has to be through a subscription. I can find most stories on other mediums and other websites.

Slowest!!!

I pay for this app and it’s the slowest app I’ve ever experienced.

Canceling Subscription

All of a sudden I don’t have access to the puzzles! Bye NJ.com!

Update loses subscription

Once I updated the app it loses the link to my paid subscription. Logging back in says there is no active subscription for my account but my subscription is paid through the end of the year. Customer service did not respond to me.

Have subscription. Can’t access subscriber content.

Have a subscription using Apple’s privacy relay. Login on desktop via Apple ID works, but cannot access subscriber content. Can only contact NJ.com for subscription problem by writing email, which defeats the point of privacy relay. Stay classy you creeps.

Junk

This app almost never opens and if it does open it takes forever and most articles are locked. This app needs a serious update.

Fix it

This app almost never loads. Screen remains white, then it crashes. Open it again, same thing. There have been numerous updates, none of which address this problem.

Broken and Bad Faith

This app excels at two things: crashing and hoovering up your private data!

Slow

Great reporting but the app takes forever to load!

Won’t open please fix

Did the same developer who recently updated the NJ Transit app also update this one? Because it’s not working. Was a great app and all of a sudden it’s not even opening. I pay a subscription but the news isn’t accessible. Please fix asap it’s important to have local news and this poor tech is undermining the journalism

Worst performing App ever

The app would not open today after 3 attempts. When the app does open, it takes 30 to 60 seconds to populate. I’m paying $10 a month because I like local news. I’m out.

Load time makes it unusable

This app is horrible. Waiting for over a minute to load every time or even longer. Was happy to pay for a subscription to support the press, but I can’t even read stories. Did not renew. No thanks

Crashes

The app rarely opens and when it does, it crashes. It’s the only news app that does this and the phone has 128g. Fix it

Soooo glitchy

This app is so glitchy! It never loads when you click on it, it stays a blank white screen even when you go in and out of it several times. When you search with a keyword, it takes FOREVER to load and search.

Senior unfriendly

We seniors can’t afford to pay to read articles
