Can’t access after update

The app won’t move from the page that ask for an email verification ever since I updated to the newest version. I have the fully paid version and this is extremely frustrating.

why french and portuguese?

if the whole point of this app is to reclaim OUR ancestral languages why is there the option to learn these colonizer languages, they should be replaced by other actual african languages

No audio

I want to begin learning twi but there is no audio on the first lesson. I can’t even access the rest without paying for it. If there’s no sound on the first one, why would I pay to see what the rest are like? Very unfortunate.

Response from developer

Thanks for your feedback, and we’re sorry for the frustration. We actually replied to your support request via email to help troubleshoot this. In some cases on iPhones, audio may not play if the device is set to Silent Mode, which can affect certain media playback depending on system settings. Switching the device to Ringer Mode usually resolves this immediately. Since the lesson audio itself is working normally, this is typically a device setting rather than an issue with the lesson content. If the problem continues after switching off Silent Mode, please reply to our email with your device model and iOS version and we’ll gladly investigate further. We’d also really appreciate it if you could update your rating once the issue is resolved, as it helps other learners discover the app. Thank you for trying NKENNE and for helping us improve the experience for everyone.

Informational but very glitchy

Im currently using the app to learn Igbo and for the most part the material is good. The main issue is that the app is very glitchy for me. Often I’ll open the app and the homescreen will be frozen. When I eventually get to play the videos the videos will be unresponsive to when I try to pause and the language on screen also freezes.

Educational But Glitches

Not a great experience with the app due to it malfunctioning after purchasing a 1-year subscription. Requested a refund. Would not be repurchasing.

Response from developer

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re really sorry for the experience you had. We’ve released an update that includes important performance and stability improvements. If you’re open to it, please update the app and try again. We’d love the chance to provide you with a much better experience.
