Updated interface is great

Good interface and selection of phrases to work with. And being able to listen to pronunciation is great. However the iMessage quiz has disappeared with the new update. And you can no longer see the price of any subscription, click to purchase or even use the free trial.

29/06/26 I appreciate my comment being listened to - we are making great use of the iMessage quiz once again. Thank you!

Great App for Learning Twi , a few suggestions though

I’ve had this app for a while now, and it’s great for learning Twi phrases and vocabulary with clear high quality audio to help with pronunciation . A very nice breadth of phrases too. I like the revamp the interface looks nice.
I have some suggestions though:
- it would be cool if we could choose to do more than 10 phrases a day
- I would like to be able to do spaced repetition flashcards for each specific section (e.g. Greetings, Faith etc), that would help greatly with learning, rather than just clicking on each phrase in a list

Thanks for the nice app!

Response from developer

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review and for sticking with the app! I'm really glad you're enjoying the redesigned interface, the audio quality, and the growing collection of Twi phrases. I also appreciate your suggestions—they're excellent. Giving learners the option to study more than 10 phrases a day and adding spaced repetition for individual categories like Greetings, Faith, and Travel are both ideas I've been considering, and feedback like yours helps prioritize future updates. Thanks again for your support and for taking the time to share such helpful feedback. Medaase! 🙏

Good but needs upgraded

I really like this app!! My only issue is I can’t access all 10 phrases per day, only about 5.

Response from developer

Thank you so much for your kind words and for learning Twi with us! We've updated the app so that the full set of 10 daily phrases is now available in Learn Today. Your feedback helped us improve the experience, and we're grateful you took the time to share it. Medaase (thank you)!

Streak problems

I’m so happy this app exists! I would love to use the streak feature to help me build this habit but it seems that I’m not able to complete all 10 phrases for the day because the app won’t allow me to click on more than 4 phrases.

Response from developer

Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to leave feedback. We're glad you're enjoying the app! You're absolutely right that this wasn't the intended experience. We've updated the app so that all 10 daily phrases can now be completed properly, allowing your progress and streaks to work as designed. Thank you for helping us improve Twi Phrasebook. We appreciate your support and hope you enjoy the updated version!

Good but..

Nice app but i cant access the rest of my phrases for the day .. is it a glitch?

Streak issues

The new updates are great but I’m not able to access all 10 phrases to complete a streak. When I scroll down, I lose the ability to click on the next phrase. Also it would be nice and much better if we could learn the phrase before having to speak it. How are we supposed to record ourselves speaking a phrase we haven’t seen or heard yet?

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback and for taking the time to share your experience. We've addressed the issue you mentioned where it could become difficult to access all 10 phrases in Learn Today, and the latest update includes improvements to make progressing through the daily lesson much smoother. Regarding speaking practice, Learn Today is designed to introduce phrases gradually throughout the lesson. You can tap the audio controls to listen to each phrase and review its pronunciation before moving on to speaking practice. That said, your feedback is helpful, and we're continuing to explore ways to make the learning flow feel even more natural and intuitive for new learners. We appreciate your support and are always working to make Twi Phrasebook better. Meda wo ase!

Good but..

Nice app but i cant access the rest of my phrases to complete my streak.. is it a glitch?

Used to be nice

Was nice until they removed all the saved favorite words after the update. Now they want money for it.

Which would‘ve been ok if they wouldn‘t have removed all the progress👎

Really good

I love it and if you need to learn fast get the app asap

The new update is nice, but missing some older features!

I purchased the Twi Phrasebook and other bundle apps a long time ago, and have always liked being able to open the app and look at the vocabulary when I need to remember a word or phrase. With this newest update, I do like the new layout and practice oriented style, but with it we’ve lost a lot of access to the vocabulary and the “phrasebook” aspect behind a new subscription, which is a bit frustrating as someone who had already paid before to purchase the app. If there was a way to give more access to the vocab for those who had already purchased in the past, that would be great!

Outside of that, one feature I really do miss is the widget that would tell you the time in Twi - I used it every day before the update to help practice and was sad to see it disappear, so would love to have that back in the future if possible!

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback - I really appreciate you taking the time to share this. If you previously purchased or subscribed to an earlier version of the app, you should still have access. Please try restoring your purchase by going to the Settings tab in the app, tapping Twi Phrasebook Pro, and tapping Restore Purchases at the bottom. That should unlock your previous access. I also hear you on the phrasebook aspect - maintaining easy access to vocabulary is important, especially for quick reference, and I’m continuing to improve that experience. Regarding the Twi time widget, I’m glad to hear you found it useful - it’s actually coming back in an upcoming update in an improved form. Thanks again for your support over the years, and please feel free to reach out if the restore doesn’t work or if you have any other suggestions.

Updated interface is great, but features have disappeared

Good interface and selection of phrases to work with. And being able to listen to pronunciation is great. However the iMessage quiz has disappeared with the new update. And you can no longer see the price of any subscription, click to purchase or even use the free trial.

Actually Amazing

Had no expectations, turned out this is probably the best Twi learning App in the App Store. Medase

Good but one thing needed

The search bar only works for English it would be more convenient if you could search for words or phrases in Twi as well

Very helpful

This app helped me realize I don’t really know how to speak twi. I learned a lot of nouns and things that I would actually need when talking to people in twi without having to switch back to English

Best Ghana app

This app is a really good app I let my little sister you this and it helps her like a charm and it’s free

Copy and paste

I’m asking if there’s a way to copy and paste

Amazing

This help my kids learn twi

Ok but

Would be great to translate someone speaking from a recording I.e a film scene for a quick translation.

Good

I love this I am Ghanaian and I need to learn my own language.
