Nomad changed my life
I am a 50 year old man and I am not tech savvy at all but this app has opened up my world , I can create pretty much anything now and print it out , it is amazing , and every day I get better and learn more with it, I love it .
DO NOT USE WITH IPHONE
I have a iPhone 17 Pro Max, the largest phone possible. The UI is CLUTTERED. This reduces my view port to 60% of the screen. It’s like building a ship in a bottle. Can’t touch the microscopic 3 dots under icon to see if there’s a way to close it. Dev; this app may *work on both iPad and iPhone, but it’s not necessarily appropriate for small screens. I model on my phone all the time and the UI here just stinks. Terrible first impression, terrible waste of $20.

I was using a tool, I think it was move or drag, and then the app froze and obviously I wasn’t able to save, and it was very frustrating because it was very hard to do the steps and that I had to restart those steps. Overall, it is still a very good app.

This is unbelievably fast and the most user-friendly iPad sculpting software I've used—it makes me happy every day! It is very simple, yet features a beautifully organized UI that keeps all the app's tools easily accessible. I love how easily you can sculpt organic shapes or tackle hard-surface modeling using Boolean operations. It also includes great painting tools and rendering features. I really love this app and find myself using it for hours!

The pinch tool has up and broke
So, I’m a long time user of nomad and i LOVE IT but this most recent issue is driving me insane. The pinch tool isn’t pinching. It used to actually PINCH but in a recent update it’s now behaving more like the crease tool. I cannot find a fix ANYWHERE so this really sucks, I use the pinch tool a whole lot :(

Amazing and easy to learn

Great app, just one request though
You can do alot of important things in the app, mostly modeling, but i have one issue with it.
using the built-in layer tool, you can basically animate to some extent, by changing the percentage of the layer and exporting each frame, you can make an animation. even if you’re going for a quick animation, doing this with multiple parts can take a long time and is a needless hassle. my request is a simple timeline, each frame can save multiple changes so you can move back to certain frames to change some things.
if it isnt too much to ask for, this would be a beautiful update.

Not for newbies
I have spent long hours trying to understand what everything on the menus do, is a very capable app, but not for people that don’t understand 3d creation.
Very cluttered
The display is so cluttered it makes doing anything hard. And things that are very simple on other 3d renderes like deleting an object requires digging around through the clutter to find the delete button.

I’ve been sculpting for 20 years, using mainly ZBrush. I was jealous of all the other artists and designers who could do their thing on the go, but hen Nomad came out it changed the game, and it’s only gone from strength to strength. Even when certain other apps appeared, nomad is still on top for me. It’s easy to use, slick, and not cluttered. And with an exceptional price, awesome awesome.

Fantastic Software
I adore sculpting in Nomad. I only wish it had direct vertice manipulation like some other 3D software, for sculpting hard surface objects like armor more finely. Can’t recommend this software highly enough though.
