My ride or die sculpting app
I will not be convinced to return to zBrush when Nomad exists. I’ve championed this app to several game dev friends who enjoy sculpting and I will continue to do so. The app itself is amazing, reasonably priced one time buy, solid features, UI that is intuitive and never overwhelming, and also great documentation. The Quad remesher add-on is worth the price if you want to export out decently cleaned up meshes, it’s not perfect but it’s the same result as most other 3D software with less hassle. The app runs great even on a gen3 iPad, Ive had very few crashes only due to accidentally remeshing to an extremely high poly-count. Auto-save has saved me many a times from this. The UI never feels cramped even on the smaller 11in iPad. Anything experimental or buggy is always labelled so!! You actually get a chance to save or backup vs blindly using a tool that could mess up your work or crash the app.
The wants: I know it’s a sculpting app but I really wish there were some hard surface modeling options! There are times I want to make pieces that are less organic and I have to swap to a different software (Maya) to import it in. Maybe it’s a skill/knowledge issue on my part, if it was a Nomad add-on or adjacent app I would buy it considering the positive experience I’ve had with Nomad itself. A turntable export feature would also be nice for final displays, recording your screen can only capture so much in terms of resolution. Customizable tool kits would also be nice in order to keep brush groups together and lessen scrolling/searching in the single side bar.

Great app when it’s not crashing
Crashes constantly with bool or remeshing once you have a handful of objects. You must constantly decimate or risk random crashes. If it didn’t crash it would be 5 stars. I’d rather wait 2-3min or whatever to process things in chunks instead of just immediate crashes.

I actually don’t even know how to qualify how good this program actually is it is one of the best 3-D modeling sculpting programs that exist. In my opinion I just recently got into 3-D modeling as an artist and for the largest part it’s 90% intuitive and 10% very complex and I think that’s a good ratio that proves that any beginner can start using this software and create beautiful 3-D anything you want highly recommend well worth the $20 for a lifetime of use.

First time trying
Absolutely cinema. This is like blender in so much ways. Well, I can’t just get right how to spawn in more blocks cause I wanna make a head for this build.
Bugs
For the past week Theres been a lot of bugs on the iOS . Imported objects Aren’t centered to world or local. The smooth brush isn’t smoothing all the time. Unwanted Layers appear. Sometimes when using paint tool even when brush size is set to small it appears big on the object. It’s told me once that I no longer had remesher when I had baught it when it first was available. Etc etc

very good but needs an animation update
this app is awesome for 3D sculpting and rendering, but i think it would be awesome if this app could have an animating update — where you can animate 3D objects.
Loving this app so far! 🥰 But there’s one issue!
So far, I’m loving this app, and it was fairly easy to learn how to use the sculpting tools, and tweak the settings. Now, onto the issue. There needs to be a rigging section/setting added to this software, but I know it will take a ton of hard work, coding, and even money (and even it’s possibility is skewed because of the space issues with mobile devices). I’m utterly exhausted with having to transport all of my sculpts and creations into complicated, time-consuming softwares like Blender (or any third-party rigging websites) because I am a hands/fingers on creator, and I don’t like to use computer mouses and trackpads to use softwares like Blender (but that’s just my personal preference). 🥹 I hope y’all will be able to eventually add a rigging setting to this app. This app has a lot of potential! 😇
