Good but not for me
App/feature wise it’s nice though. 4.5/5
Response from developer
Thank you for taking the time to write a review, and for the honest scores! Feedback like this is exactly what helps us get better. One thing worth checking: if what you tried was the first call right after signing up, that is our welcome call, and it is interview-like on purpose. Nora asks a few questions to get to know you and build your plan, so it is question after question by design. The actual conversations in the app are a different thing, and if the welcome call is what left the impression, we'd love for you to try the rest. The point about one question after another and not much coming back from her side is well put either way, and we're taking it to the team. We build Nora together with our users and listen closely to this kind of input, so it will shape how we improve conversations going forward. A few things that give a very different feel: The friend personas are much more relaxed than Nora the tutor and talk more like a bilingual friend than a teacher. You can also create your own persona with a name, personality and backstory, and they'll speak from that instead of quizzing you. And since the situational practice worked for you, the adventure journeys are worth a try. They're built as stories with characters and a plot, so the conversation has somewhere to go. If you'd like to share more about what you'd want the conversations to feel like, write to us at contact@hellonora.ai. We'd love to hear it. Team Nora
