Since arriving on NC500 i’ve not used anything else for navigation. The only niggle, hence 4 stars, is the filters always reset when the app is closed. Having to select personal choices each time I use the app is annoying.
Yes you can set them in settings but they don’t transfer to the map anyway.

Good to a point…
The map in the app shows the official route, however, when you ask the app to provide route guidance it shows the fastest route. On the western side this is often NOT via the NC500… Would also be good if the user could add their own destinations (e.g. overnight stops).

Incredible well curated and meaningful viewpoints, villages and ruins listing on a live and visual map.
Most important of all, the music.
You would not want to hear anything else on the highlands and coast but the soulful Gaelic music.

Very good app, but I wish I could have access to a bigger map.
