perfect for avoiding FOMO… alerts can be a few minutes delayed but good enough to know when it’s getting exciting… would be great if there were timelapses of each night to download (maybe different speeds too like 1 frame per second etc)
Rovianemi Trip December 7-9
A lot of the trackers we downloaded said low chance of seeing the Aurora but the camera feature and alert feature of this app really helped us to see the aurora in Rovianemi and it was accurate, this and the Aurora Reach App are great if u want to find the lights on your own! well worth it!

Doesn’t work.
This app has VERY limited locations, if you live anywhere other then a major city It likely won’t work.
Mala experiencia
No sirve la aplicacion, avisa tarde, una noche decia que no iba a haber auroras y decidimos salir igual, fue la mejor noche de mi vida, jamas nos llego la notificación de las auroras, agradezco no haber confiado en la aplicación.
Worked well in Levi, Finland
During our stay in Levi, we had several cloudy days with no lights. On our last night, the clouds were forecasted to break up late in the evening. To increase our chances to see them, we went on a small tour plus got this app. We were very lucky and saw an amazing display! The app was sending alerts as we were starting to see the lights on several occasions, not afterwards. It also sent an alert at 4:15am that night. We bundled up, went outside and saw another display that lasted 30minutes! We were the only ones out seeing it and would have missed it without this app.

Great App!
I noticed this app did not have a high review and 2 not great reviews so was hesitant to download and pay the 2 day fee.. however I wanted to give myself every possible chance to see the Northern Lights and this is the ONLY app that notified me in real time about the sightings. I saw the lights two nights in a row thanks to this app!!

This did not alert for me at all
9.99 for two days is expensive and should be solid, clear and functional for that kind of money. It did not work for me. Fortunately I did a photo safari with an in the ground professional that allowed me a chance to see the Aurora. This app was behind curve in terms of timely alerting per app time stamp. Additionally I never got an actual alert. Had I not gone out and been sleeping or otherwise busy I would have missed the one chance to see the lights on my trip. I do not suggest this app.

Useless - alert when off with no info on what location/direction
No info comes with alert - useless... can’t tell what location and what direction the sighting was

Hi, thank you for your feedback even though it wasn't very positive. When the alert arrives, it has the timestamp and the strength mentioned. Northern Lights always appear in the north direction. A mobile compass will be added in to the app with future versions.
Tourist trap
I read about the app in a brochure during our holiday in Finnland. I also bought the code for about 10€.
First I was surprised that the code was only valid for 3 days. Second, the app told that only 2 alerts were send during the last 30 days!
Unfortunately there are no more informations like satellite pictures or any other forecasted.
I am wondering if there are alerts at all.

App hat leider nicht funktioniert
Wir können die App leider nicht aussagekräftig bewerten, da sie bei uns leider nicht funktioniert hat. Haben den Code für 9,90€ im Weihnachtsmanndorf in Rovaniemi gekauft. Ärgerlich war das es für den Preis nicht funktionierte. Im Nachhinein war der App-Anbieter jedoch sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, daher die Anzahl an Sternen.

Not that great
Was in Lapland last week, had a fantastic time but this app isn’t accurate. It’s good for telling you ‘if the sky is clear you may see the NorthernLights’ but not always good for sending alerts that there is NorthernLights out where you are. Thankfully we were out on activities & did see the NorthernLights twice, the 1st time the app went off was when we were half way through seeing the NorthernLights anyway (so was a little late telling us), the 2nd time we saw the NorthernLights the app didn’t send us an alert.

Not worth the money
We downloaded the app and bought the code for 9.90€ hoping to be notified about the northern lights.
But while we didn’t get any notification, we saw from others how they posted pictures and videos from northern light activities and we missed it. I don’t know if you only get notified when they show up in your bathroom or what but this is absolute waste of money!

The App asked for a login key, but doesn’t give you the option to register/create a login ... bizarre!
App precisa ma non funzionano bene le notifiche
App utile, precisa e intuitiva. Il problema è che quando arrivano le notifiche sullo smartphone non emettono alcun suono (ovviamente le impostazioni smartphone son corrette). Problema riscontrato su iPhone 6.
