Great food. Worst app.
Food and coffee are great. Love this place. But worst app ever. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Don’t know why they even bother. And I have let the folks there know and have had many emails with them. Seems like they fix it. And then it goes wrong again. Now I can’t even order bc it assumes delivery and says it can’t deliver. Which is not what I want. Just want the menu page. It’s 2026. Her it fixed or just give up and let customers know.

App is useless and dysfunctional!!
Literally cannot get past the log in page. There is no way to create a new account and after inserting my phone # it says my email is invalid. There is no way to use this app and it’s benefits which is a huge disappointment because I’ve been going to Northside Social so long I used to have the paper coffee reward cards! If you’re going to upgrade your tech, at least make it usable!!

Absolute garbage.
This restaurant is good. But you refuse to take orders over the phone and the app does not work. Easy way to lose business
Basic problems in app
If the payment fails (eg the card on file is expired), you get no notification. You don’t find out until you show up and no one can find your food. And then it’s probably a 20 minute wait to put a new order in. So frustrating.
App no longer shows menu
I can’t order anything anymore because it doesn’t show me any options, just a blank screen. Too bad because I was close to a reward :(
Useless and frustrating app
Graphic-heavy and takes forever to load, crashes mid-order, no details about whether an item is vegan or not. So, had to flip between the website and the app to get the details about ingredients. We were excited to have food from there, but after wrestling with it for 25+ minutes and ultimately losing the order, we gave up and went somewhere else. Seems like they spent a ton of money on an app that is losing them business. Doesn’t seem characteristic of their other business-savvy choices.

Unusable
i’m cool with minimal UI, but you can’t skimp on UX. as of right now it is literally impossible to create an account on iphone 8 with the current update. what a joke. when you try to buy anything you’re forced to enter your number, which triggers a sign-in with no option to create an account, so you cannot proceed, blocking new customers from ordering anything. i love this cafe tho and i will literally fix this crumby app for free if you contact me.

Northside is great, app needs work
The app repeatedly marks $0 for your items and you have to start over with the order again. It’s been an ongoing problem.
Terrible app - dumps order
This app does not show the full menu on the website. It also dumped our order 3 times, requiring us to start over. We ended up ordering from somewhere else; when I called to place the order over the phone they directed me to this app.
Great cafe, poorly designed app
We love coming to Northside, but this app is poorly designed. It repeatedly prompts you to enable location access and you have to repeatedly decline. The order remained in a preparing state in the app even though the order was apparently ready. We only learned it was ready when we asked.
