Instructions fail

Installed app. Went to iOS Settings per instructions, but Settings did not contain what app said. Latest iOS.

Disappointing and Ineffective Customer Support

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Norton’s live chat support while trying to resolve an issue with Norton 360 Security & VPN, Norton VPN App, and Norton Ad Blocker.
• I was in a support chat for nearly four hours (22:11 GMT+5 to 01:43), yet my issue was not resolved.
• Multiple agents left the chat immediately after being assigned, leading to unnecessary delays.
• Responses were slow and repetitive, and at times, agents contradicted previous statements, making the experience confusing.
• During the chat, I noticed changes in my Norton account settings that I did not initiate. When I inquired about it, the agent did not provide a clear explanation and instead redirected the conversation.
• Eventually, I was told that because my purchase was made through the iOS App Store, Norton support could not assist me and that I should contact Apple instead.

This experience was highly disappointing, and I did not receive the level of support expected from a service focused on security. If reliable and effective customer support is important to you, consider this before purchasing.

Not as good

I am still getting ads and I did what it said to correct it but it was already set the way that you asked. Now what

Data selling?

App doesn’t work, did I just leak all my personal info for a ad block that doesn’t even work? Possibly. What a shame. A sham.

Doesn’t work for my device

After all steps, it does nothing.

literally did nothing for me

like the title says. downloaded, installed on my Ipad, opened app & clicked on. get just as many ads as before 3 weeks later.

Does the job.

It does what it says it does well and I use it along a different AdBlocker with extra features. Together not a single thing pops up and I have no issues anywhere. Makes everything better.

No permission

Download it cuz it’s free. However, when I went to enable it to safari it told me that this app doesn’t have permission to access safari. It doesn’t work for anything else for that matter. Not sure what’s going on 🧐

Not working

I’ve had this for a while, now, and I can’t tell ANY difference. I have just as many ads as before. Very disappointed!

Just Doesn’t Work

Maybe it’s that the last update was two years ago, but I’m seeing no change in ads after installing and activating according to the instructions. I hate those webpages that reload over and over as new ads are pulled in and I’d hoped that Ad Blocker would fix that, but it seems not to be.

Last update 2 years ago???

Norton is a well known name …. but 2 years seems like a very long time since a last update for this app. Technology and cyber security is changing so rapidly …. Is this two year old app update protecting users? Also, does this only work in Safari?

Didn’t remove ads

I followed instructions to the t did not work

Doesn’t Do Anything

Even when enabled, it does nothing.

DGW45

Not only has this app decreased the ads popping up but when I refused to renew my subscription Norton looked at my wallet and clones a different credit card to bill it to causing my FOURTH fraud alert on my credit cards and having to eliminate all cards from my wallet. I am looking for another security app.

Don’t bother

Doesn’t work. Also only for Safari.

.

Doesn’t block any ads

Abysmal

Doesn’t block any type of ads, I was watching movies online and I was comparing different ad blockers and Norton was the only one that could stop ads from popping up. I set it up correctly step by step but ads still pop up. Very dumb and doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do.

Doesn’t work in iOS 18 / iPhone 16

The settings in iPhone for Safari-Extensions tells me this app does not have permission to change or alter data from websites. Meaning it can’t block ads. It seems with the newer iOS or new phones apple probably disabled it. Or maybe you need to make an update in your app to fix this issue.

No good

I’ve had the paid version for months and haven’t seen any decrease in as pop ups. They drive me crazy but this is not the way to go. Unfortunately!!!

Wth

Doesn’t work boo
