Search function needs work
App is great, and the content is fantastic, but the search function could be improved. There is no way to sort search results by date. I don't want an article written 3 years ago; I want the one I read two weeks ago.

Love NTB but the app is unreadable
NTB is my favorite source for news. You often see news days or weeks before it appears on the MSM.
But… the app is constantly loading adds. It repeatedly scrolls to the top as you read. If you want to read something, go to a web browser instead.

Fix please and I’ll update
I’ve never written a review for an app before, but it’s time. I really enjoy the NtB content and had, for many years, been fine with the app. Just recently (August-September 2026) it has started refreshing every 15+/- seconds. I realize that’s it’s just too serve me up another great ad (I get ads are necessary) but I can only get into the beginning of reading the story or viewing a video before it refreshes and shoots me back up to the top and stops all videos. Please fix posthaste!

App issues have ruined this app
Constantly refreshing probably due to the new annoying adds that randomly turn sound on and freak me out. Unusable app at this point.

I had no problems up until recent updates the app now crashes and reloads my page so often I can't even read a news story anymore.

Why the constant reloads
I can’t read a single article on two sites I paid to stop ads from constantly loading ads and reloading pages. There is no help on the sites, so I am writing a review hoping someeone bothers to fix the issue. It happens on the iPhone and iPad.

I’m unable to read articles because the text jumps around.
Ads ruin articles
I love Not the Bee, but the app makes the articles difficult to read. There are soooo many ads that they load and reload constantly, and it moves the articles around. I tried reading an article 5 times last night and finally gave up as it repeatedly moved back to the beginning. If this poor performance continues, I’ll be deleting the app. Frustrating.

I hardly ever open the app because I can’t read ANY article. Please fix this!!!! I have deleted the app and reinstalled it. No help.

I want to give this five stars because I loved this app. Currently there’s so many ads and pop-ups that you can’t read any articles nor watch the videos on my phone. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it. Nothing seems to help. Please get this fixed. I need y’all.
Unusable
Just started happening in the past week or so, but the pop-up advertisements are getting out of control. I understand the need for ads to help support the app, but they’re so intrusive that they override everything and seriously interfere with using the app.

This app has become borderline unusable. Not sure if it is ads reloading or x tweets. But every few 15 seconds or so it reloads and I lose my place in the article as the whole screen jumps around. Makes reading the articles basically impossible.
Amazing news source
The only thing I dislike about it (and this is new) is that I can’t even look at the article for more than a few minutes before it reloads. PLEASE GET THIS FIXED, otherwise, it’s amazing
App is buggy
Love the content, used to love the app, but recent updates (perhaps all the new ads that were just added?) make the app very hard to use. You can’t even read an article anymore because the content constantly jumps around as various ads load.
