Used to be a great app for news, but the ads are out of control. I’m all for them making money, but the ads cause my phone to run slow, I can’t read articles, and some ads are pretty unsavory.
Funniest way to get the news!!
Most news is bad. If I have a choice of getting depressed or laughing then Not The Bee is the best and funniest way to get the news!

If it weren’t for this app, I wouldn’t know about the majority of information circulating that actually impacts culture because the mainstream media doesn’t care to tell society about it. I don’t have social media and this app helps keep me informed of current events and makes me more aware of what is happening in the world.

5 stars for the news, -4 stars for the app
This app is frustrating. Every time I am on it, it completely shuts off my phone’s functionality for several minutes. Everything gets really slow and laggy when I try to read multiple articles, and when the entire app isn’t glitching, the articles never fully load. I wish I could just recommend going to the website, but the same problems exist there as well.
In addition, the quality of the ads
is horrendous, and judging by some of the other reviews, I’m not the only one getting scam-likely and sexualized images as I try to read about some crazy leftist.
And, to add insult to injury, while the whole page is taking years to load, guess what does? You got it, the ads.
Improve the app. Make it as good as the Bee app. Don’t change the news, though.

Not only do they provide up to date news, it’s a great alternative to the MSM and television.
I like that Not the Bee uses posts from social media and shows a lot of things that people don’t want to see or hear becuase they disagree with NTB. When I can afford it, I’ll probably subscribe.

Informative and Funny
The writers do a great job of sharing news that’s relevant, but not shared by many others (while still sharing the big things others share). They make it pithy and funny. It’s one of my go-to news apps.
Not Satire
But almost. News is so bizarre at present that there are blurred lines about what is actually reality. And Not the Bee enjoys the reporting. Recommend!
Advertising
I can’t open a first story on your website and not get a notification from my vpn that it was blocked. I am a believer in Jesus Christ our Lord and feel something is amiss. Filter the wolves and protect the flock! Money will burn up when Jesus comes to judge the living and dead!
Can't read articles due to ads
Would be fine if the ads showed and after seeing the ad one could close them and read the article. Doesn't allow this.
