About
Notch is a calmer way to use your reminders.
It keeps no list of its own. Your reminders stay synced by your own iCloud account. Anything you add in Notch appears on every device you own. There is nothing to import, no second copy to keep in step, and nothing stranded if you stop using it.
WRITE A REMINDER THE WAY YOU WOULD SAY IT
Type "call the office tomorrow at 9" and Notch files a task called "call the office", due at 9am tomorrow. The date is lifted out of the title instead of being left sitting in it. Give no time and it stays an all-day reminder, because Notch will not invent one for you.
All of that happens on your device.
FOUR VIEWS, ONE TAP APART
Today, Upcoming, All and Completed. The title at the top is the switcher, so changing view is a single tap, and every view and list carries its own count. Search reaches titles, notes and links at once.
LINKS THAT BECOME BUTTONS
A link buried in a reminder's notes becomes a small button on the row: an email in Spark, Mimestream, a web page, or a story in Prexy. No more scrolling through a wall of URL text to reach the thing the reminder is actually about.
WIDGETS THAT DO SOMETHING
Every size, plus Lock Screen widgets. Tick a task straight from a widget without opening the app. Home Screen and desktop widgets can be set to show Today, Upcoming, Overdue, or everything still open.
BUILT TO BE READ
Eight themes, Light and Dark or follow the system, and control over text size. Overdue stays red, notes stay yellow, and every list keeps the colour you gave it in your reminders. The theme colours the frame; it never colours the information.
PRIVATE BY CONSTRUCTION
Notch makes no network requests at all. There is no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs. Nothing is collected, because there is nothing in the app capable of collecting it.
iPhone, iPad and Mac are one app, not three.
Notch needs access to your Reminders. That is all it reads, and all it needs.
