What's New in Note Names

1.7

October 27, 2026

Trumpet valve fingerings: switch the tags from letters to valve fingerings for B-flat trumpet, right on your sheet music. Open a trumpet part and tap the suggestion, or choose it in the Letters drawer. Comes with the unlock. Scanned a page into a PDF? Note Names now spots photos and scans inside PDFs and reads them with its photo reader, so you get far more notes. If a page still comes back with only a few notes, you can read it again as a photo with one tap. New free metronome: tap in the tempo, pick the beats per bar, and play along on any piece.

Disappointed

This app is great but I’m disappointed I can’t download or print the pdf. I will be looking for a better app that fits my needs. Very disappointing.
