Lost note after I close tab
I don’t know if you guys have updated anything recently but after I finished my note I saved it like usual but after I open it again all my note are gone, I might switch to another app if this keep happening
New update has too many bugs
I used to love this app. The new update has too many bugs making it almost unusable. It loses what I’ve written instead of saving it. When I paste in an image, I can only sometimes resize it. It asks me if it is ok to paste, every, single, time. It is constantly mistaking my wrist for a second finger and zooming way in on me. The new drawing controls are inelegant and take up too much space. There is no way to send the developer feedback other than to post a review:) I miss the old app!

New update
This new update is horrible. Its hard to find everything, the writing is so delayed and it freezes, it doesn’t save what i wrote and its already happened numerous times that i leave the page and it deletes everything ive wrote. Pls do something i did not pay for this app for it to not be doing what it needs to do

Used to be 5 stars
This new update is so frustrating. I’ve had notes with 20 plus pages and this update shifts the pen size, i just cant make it small enough anymore even at the min size, the pen is also blurry, the old one was easier to look at. Like I can barely read the new noted I write. I just can’t use my documents anymore I wish I could switch back to what it was…
I might genuinely swap notes apps because this is really over complicated compared to what it was originally. Even minimized the top of the screen with the options I feel takes up too much space.
update:
my notes keep deleting parts of my work i will exit and come back and there are intermittent parts that are blank.

Hate new update
I use this app for public talks. Why did you remove horizontal page turning? I hate the new turn page book animation. Just show me the next page instantly. If you want to make this app better take it back where it was 2 years ago
Ficou ótimo agora
Fiz uma avaliação criticando depois da atualização, hj veio outra atualização corrigindo praticamente tudo! E ficou ótimo! Então vim mudar minha avaliação…
New updates made app awesome but stability issue
You new update has really brought many new features and its really helpful and futuristic.
But recent update had made app very sluggish, hanging and even it gets crash sometimes. Although with every updates things are improving, still please focus on improving app stability 1st as its hampering our work.
Thanks for your effort.

Response from developer
Hello! Thanks for your feedback! Best regards, Notes Writer Team
Whyy
The new actualization doesn’t have an option to make the brush smaller, it has sizes but they dont match to the size I had before the update, and now the text has to be gigantic in comparison to what i had, also if i try with another brush that reselmbles the size i want it looks pixelated and kicks me out of the app

New update bad
Used for work everyday and recently had an update which has made it really hard to use and slowed down my productivity
Horrible new update
I have used the notes writer app since my freshman year in college and it has been great but the recent update changed everything and now when I take notes in class it is so delayed and doesn’t allow me to take good notes.
This was a 5 star app before the new UI update
The new UI/UX update is horrendous!! This used to be a 5 star app for me. Very simple and classic. Now it's too buggy and futuristic. I can't erase handwriting from documents that I've copied anymore. The undo button, opens another undo (or redo) button every single time. I used to be able to just continuously press one undo button times. Now I have to press two undo buttons in two different places for every pen stroke I want to undo. Apple pencil is now suddenly laggy. It's so trippy to write a word and not have a letter show up on the screen until you've finished the next 1-2 letters. I hate when apps ruin a perfectly good thing.

UPDATE
July 2026 - not only no support, for ages now:
Issues:
BACKUPS
If you want to backup your notes, you can not just backup as you can with most notes app. You need to abandon your note organization...because you would need to move notes to a special backup folder.
REMOTE STORAGE
No way to keep notes on a WebDAV - so your notes consume a stack of room on your phone .

Add a Tape feature
This app is not that bad, but it would be better if they add a tape feature, just like Goodnotes and other apps for studying purposes.
