App froze had to reinstall and lost all files even though it was backing up to iCloud

Great App, but minor bug
I have used this app for a couple years to take notes for schoolwork and personal use. To me, it has everything I need, from importing pdfs, exporting notes, great UI, and great Apple Pen integration.
However, recently the app isn’t behaving properly. When inside a notebook, and selecting pages from the right side pop up, when selecting an option like “delete all”, the menu doesn’t stay open, no matter how many times you click on it.
The notebooks are also having freezing issues, where everything works, except for the apple pen.
All that said, it is still my favourite note taking app, and I hope the issues get resolved.

BEEN USING FOR YEARS. LOVE IT! NEW VERSIONS CAME OUT. NEVER SWITCHED LOVE THE OLD ONE SO MUCH. SHOULD PROBABLY TRY. BUT THE OLD VERSION DOES EVERYTHING I WANT!!
Better than Noteshelf 3
The best thing about this app is how nice my handwriting looks compared to every other app. I thought Noteshelf 3 would had been better, but Noteshelf 2 is a gem on the way handwriting looks. It’s very similar to paper and pencil, which complements my neat handwriting.
Switch to Goodnotes?
I’ve used Noteshelf 2 for 4 years. I use a daily diary which simply has a one page view for each day. Nothing complicated. To save data space I delete pages that have nothing entered. ie I look back over the last month and delete the blank pages. I used to be able to do this using the edit function and delete multiple blank pages in one hit. That’s stopped working, so now I have to find each page and delete it one by one. Also, it’s poor that landscape format does not work with iPad so I am restricted to using portrait. Also, importing a template eg a pink rules page is impossible (or too complicated) and they never fill the page. My daughter uses Goodnotes6 for school and I’m looking at switching to that but it looks tricky to get a very simple daily diary for free. The reviews for Noteshelf3 aren’t good and it has a ways smaller number of reviews so maybe Goodnotes or Notability are better options.

Love this app but when I try to download free stuff the whole app crashes

I love the Noteshelf 2 and have not had any problems before but with the new one it will not show on my iPhone
I’ve even manually backed it up on iCloud but all my appointments will not show on my phone which is important

Love this app. One of my top 5 favorites. Use it for all my notes.
Been using for a few years and the support and improvements have been great. Back before purchase, I had reviewed all competitors and found Noteshelf best met my note-taking needs. I haven’t reviewed recent competitors but have no need to move to another product.

Master organizer!
This app is the best thing I have to coordinate my businesses and all the data I need, all at a really quick find. Super easy to set up and manage your folders. And the ability to manipulate documents once in the program is super clutch.
Good, but cumbersome
Noteshelf 2 & 3 both have some good features. I have used Noteshelf 2 for 9 hours a day for 4-5 years as a student, so I can appreciate what they have done here. Unfortunately, the inability to truly nest folders (within folders) limits Noteshelf’s organization potential a lot. Additionally, after accumulating many notes over the years Noteshelf takes a very long time to open, despite offloading many of my files to the cloud when not in use. These two things are enough for me to look for other options. I think goodnotes has a far superior way of organizing files. Noteshelf should do the same and it would go a long way.

Copy Feature
Certain features have stopped working. I can no longer copy pages of one notebook to another.
Excellent notes app
I rely on this daily for my workflow. I’m in the construction business and I go out on site and I Measure and designed custom kitchens based on plans contractors provide me. This app has been an essential part of my workflow and it’s just been amazing too use. I wish there were a few more things that could do in terms of drawing capability, but other than that, it allows me to import documents, attach photos and then easily share everything. Thank you.
