Downloaded this app for free. They ended up charging my card for 200 worth of unauthorized charges. Dont even have the app on my phone anymore and they continue to charge my card. Complete SCAM

Be careful
Says watch 2 ads for free chapter … 1 ad can be 2 minutes and another “single” ad can be made up of 3 ads … feels wrong. Also now sending you out of app to a web page ad, then makes you watch ad to get back into app.
Oh, and most of the stories are “ongoing” but not getting any new chapters ….,

Pricing
This app is wildly overpriced and the amount of money you pay for a months subscription to not get everything available is actually ridiculous. To only have a set amount of coins on a months subscription considering what you pay is ridiculous.
Too Expensive Compared to Other Apps
There are a few great books in here. I had a weekly subscription with unlimited reading and made the mistake of cancelling it. Now I don’t see an option for unlimited reading. The coin packages are way too much and the chapters take a lot of coins to unlock. The chapters in this app cost 3-4 times more than chapters in other apps. I really wish the two books I’m trying to finish were available in a different app so I could take my business elsewhere.

UPDATE: ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THEM TO STOP CHARGING MY CREDIT CARD 🤬🤬Story was good but it shouldn’t cost $60 to get only halfway through. I could’ve bought 3 better edited books! Bailing. Would love to read rest of story but I can’t even find anything that tells me how much it costs per chapter or word count. These predatory apps should be banned.

Have to pay
The app used to let you read 10 chapter per day. But with the recent update that has been removed. Now you get one or two chapters and have to pay to read any more each day. Very frustrating. Bring back the ability to watch adds to get chapters and this would be great again.
Unhappy
Top of the list for things to know. If you purchase a bunch of points they are going to charge you more per chapter then they ever do if you just do whatever daily to earn points. They have charged me 121 for one chapter and 106 yet if just use daily points the most they charge is 99. I spent more than a book was worth because I wanted to read it. Meanwhile when I did what I needed to do to earn points to read part of it this App cheated me out of points. No chapter has cost more than 99 points up u til now but because I waited and let the points add up they charged me extra. For the chapter I just unlocked they charged me 121 points!!! What a ripoff. That’s not the only time but this time I watched the points each chapter so I would know how much they stole. I will finish this story but that will be it. Either get more reasonable or hopefully get ignored by all. Looks they will not let me post this review because they don’t like it.

I played those games which were 8 I played. I only got credit for 5. I’m just trying to finish this one story and they keep cheating me out of points whenever they want.

Rewards Taken Away
UPDATE: Not even a day later, a collected my rewards today, had 603, just looked now I have 544, real nice! Purposely don’t read the next chapter to see what would happen, guess we know.
What a scam. You can clearly see the amount of people that say how grossly expensive it is. Their response is “visit the rewards page”. HA, I do that daily, yesterday I collected my rewards and had 643, this morning I woke up to collect again and I’m down to 598. I didn’t even read anything to have used them. Don’t give these scammers any of your hard earned money, they can’t even be honest with the rewards you earned! This is not the first time it’s happened, just the first time I’m finally posting about it because it’s a joke!

I love the stories. Honestly I just cannot justify spending the money when a book online can be purchased for under $5 or $10.

Not happy
After reading an amazing story through Facebook I downloaded the app only to learn it subscribed only whereas it was advertised as being able to read it for free if you watch ads which I was fine with. However that is not the case and I won’t pay a subscription simply to read stories that have lots of errors etc. so now I’m stuck not being able to read an awesome story line because of false advertising. I don’t mind watching a few ads like I do on other platforms but this is… ridiculous.

You spend hundreds of dollars for coins just to finish a book! I’m not sure how this is ethical. And they only show you it’s 100 or so coins when you need to top up, but the chapters are actually 200+ coins! It’s not okay. I’m disappointed and will be deleting. Don’t waste your money. Maybe Apple is being paid to make this a 4.1 star when it should be a 2.

$$$ put. No end. No transparency in how many chapters, how much it costs. Up to a certain point, it says 98 chapters then nothing. I scrolled through and there are 121…. So far! And it’s not the end comments “more chapters coming soon”. Greed and thievery.

I loved the book I was reading and signed up for the monthly subscription. I finally did all the calculations- if I purchased all the chapters my monthly subscription did not cover, I would be paying over $300 to read one book (that still isn’t finished). If I tried to read the book using the monthly subscription it would take over 2 years to read it. It’s sad because the book is really good and I would definitely buy it, and every single sequel, from the bookstore, an online platform, or anywhere else besides this style of app.

Also these aren’t necessarily published works so you run into poor quality, errors, etc. at this point watt pad is at least free. Sucks because they do have some really good concept stories that I can’t find in a legitimate format

Wayyy too expensive to read a mediocre story. I have 200 chapters left and it would cost me unheard of amounts of money. Just to finish 50 chapters it would be $70..
So to finish the book, it would cost me $368. One book for over $400 bc I have already paid into it not knowing that it was 333 chapters. No book is worth that much money.

Ok stories … WAY TOO EXPENSIVE
The story was interesting so I opt’ed for a monthly subscription. Only got about 10% of the book for my trouble and that was hours into the first day. No book is worth over $200.

$107 and still a remaining 30 chapters that need to be purchased to read this book? You can literally buy 6 actual hardcover novels for what it costs to read one story. Complete scam!
