Here's the thing though: our authors are real people with real bills, mortgages, and little ones to feed — and ad revenue, honestly, just doesn't come close to covering that. We've seen the numbers, and we'd never feel right asking our writers to pour their hearts into these stories in exchange for pennies per read. We genuinely believe storytellers deserve to be compensated like human beings. The good news is there are two ways to skip the wait entirely: you can unlock individual chapters directly, or — if you're binge-reading like it sounds like you might be 😄 — our membership is probably the better deal.
