Don’t Subscribe
Like most people who like to read, I tried this app. I purchased coins to finish a story but did not get a subscription. I am being charged and I have emailed multiple times with no response. DO NOT GET THIS unless you want to be charged for something you don’t have.
SCAM- DONT Do it!
If I could give a 0 I would. Do not subscribe! You cannot cancel through your device as the subscription does not show up, there is no billing or account management link on the app or website. And they don’t respond to emails! Getting this canceled after a mistake purchase is the death of me!
Cannot cancel
Do not download this app! You cannot cancel the subscription, they will not email you back and keep charging you. Avoid!
Expensive
App is extremely expensive to get through an entire book. 755 chapters and the book isn’t complete and hasn’t been worked on in almost a year. The “subscription” is not at all what it should be and you still have to pay on top of that.
Be careful when you purchase.
I had a free trial it ended but I had put my card on file for a story I wanted to read. Now that I don’t have time. They won’t stop taking money every week. I even emailed them and they won’t answer. Even looked up how to cancel it and it’s not there.
It hacked my card
I had a subscription for maybe a week. I went to cancel it and i couldn’t find the subscription anywhere. Now I’m continuing to be charged and for some reason when I open the app my account is now gone too…one time I took a chance and I need a new card.
Subscription
I like the books but it is costly. I have tried canceling my subscription and it won’t let me.
Subscription scam
I tried out the weekly subscription but haven't been able to cancel through the instructed way. Also sent message to cancell and they still deduct money for subscription I no longer want.
Unable to contact anyone
I’ve been trying to contact anyone about my subscription and account with no response. It’s frustrating that I can change my subscription and they keep charging me with no response. No one answers their emails there.
Never finish novels
I have to come back and update my review because I initially gave five stuff because of the affordability
For 15 bucks a week you can read any and all novels
Which in the current market is very affordable. Other apps charge way more, sometimes double the amount for a weekly sub subscription
However, this app does not have any finish books. I think there might be one that actually came to an ending.
I find it super frustrating because I fell in love with some incredible books that I am still thinking about and really want to know what happened
I think the publisher and developers need to have some kind of financial incentive for their authors to actually finish their books
I currently have around 20 unfinished books in my library on this app
I have had to stop my weekly subscription because there’s literally nothing more to read and I’m too disillusion to start another novel
Because what’s the use if the authors are never going to finish or update?
If the publishers ever read this review, you need to have some kind of incentive for your offers to finish and to update regularly otherwise you’re going to haemorrhage customers

Huge rip off they expect you to pay $100+ to read one book! And if you don’t have that kind of money the daily check in doesn’t even count for one chapter! Don’t get it and waste your money!

Too expensive! Book is really good but I’ve spent so much trying to read it. I’m fed up. There needs to be an option to subscribe and get unlimited access or watch a video to unlock chapters. Not just nonsense coins and then some chapters cost 200+ coins

I have tried to cancel for over two weeks. Emailed multiple times and you get no answer from these people running this app! Stay away from it!
Update: They keep telling us to go to the coin package banner but it isn’t even under my subscription because it went under my email in Apple Pay. So how the heck am I suppose to cancel it then? This is nothing but fraud and a scam to keep getting people to pay for this mess because no one can get a response back from you via email!

Not worth it
Stories need editing, and pages are repetitive and dragged out in order to get you to buy more chapters. Each “chapter” is a roughly a page. Hard to cancel. The cost for an entire story is well over the cost of an actual book at a bookstore.
Scam
This app doesn’t let you cancel. The link it sends you sends you to your subscriptions but there is not one for novellair. If I could give 0stars I would.
Can’t cancel subscription!
It’s impossible to cancel a subscription for this app. Clicking on the coin banner and following instructions doesn’t work, despite them telling people that. They don’t respond to emails. My account says I have a subscription but still asks me to subscribe! I can see the payment, but it doesn’t show up in my phone subscriptions either! This is the worst app!

It’s expensive
Like the books but it’s super expensive to actually read one wish I could just go buy the book it would be a lot cheaper
Way too expensive
I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this app if you are thinking of the apps that give you unlimited reads with a subscription or the ones that allow you to watch ads to unlock chapters. Not this app! First you get maybe 4-5 small chapters free then hit with a “unlock chapter” pop up and it’s not an amount of 20-50 coins, it’s around 120 coins. You go look for options to make coins and vouchers and there are a few small options like turning on notifications but these are only 10 each so even after doing all the free options you can MAYBE unlock one chapter. You are now out of free coin options and go look to purchase a subscription that unlocks everything or purchase some coins. There is no unlimited reading subscription and the amount of coins you get are 100 coins to every dollar.
Why even have a subscription if it’s useless and doesn’t give you enough to finish a story? That defeats the purpose of having a subscription AT ALL. Nobody wants to come out of pocket $500 dollars to finish a single story because many chapters go on into 200s and it’s not like they all are at a fixed price either, it just gets MORE expensive. Don’t waste your time with this app, it’s a money grab in the flesh if I ever had to identify one.
