Behind the times
The “NEWS” is stale; Often days old. It often opens with high volume. It’s difficult to control the content you want to access. I’m uninstalling this app. EPOCH Times must do better.

I just want to see the news? Cant open any of the stories without an account?
I don’t want a “free” account!
I downloaded the app because the local channel stopped broadcasting. Even though I am hesitant to download apps and am not a fan of streaming news.
I enjoyed the ability to choose the programs I liked best.
Next time I tried to use the app, it would not allow me to watch most of the programming unless I created a “free” account.
Nothing in life is “free”. The price you pay for “free” accounts, is Big Brother watching you.
The price I am willing to pay is to suffer through commercials.
I would rather they just keep the commercials in the program and NOT require I sign up to anything.

Solid news effort
Ok, NTD leans conservative, but nothing like Fox or Newsmax. They present the news and their opinions in a fair manner. Definitely conservative, but fair. I find it particularly refreshing and a good counter balance to much of the news organizations out there.
What is especially refreshing is they seem to go much more in depth when doing interviews with guests. They also cover China like no one else.
I haven’t watched any of their documentaries or films yet.
I’ve only been watching since the first week of January, 2025. So take this with a grain of salt.
