I tried the other app blockers and this is the only one that actually helped me change my relationship with social media. I can still use my apps but I do it intentionally now and I feel so much better

Screen time down 60%
I use Nudge all day long and it's honestly become essential for me. Task mode is amazing… being clear about what I'm actually opening the app for and having it keep me on track is such a simple idea but it works so well.I t already has so many great preventative features. The breathing exercise when you get nudged is great. I even find myself trying to game the timing on the task mode, knowing it takes a second to catch me, but even then it still stops me from mindlessly scrolling, which kind of proves the point.
What I love is that no other app lets me actually use the things that keep me connected to people while breaking the addictive parts that come with them. My screen time is legit down 50-60% consistently compared to before. Like it ACTUALLY works and isn't some hardware thing I have to carry around or plug into. It just runs. Can't recommend it enough.

Works by recording your screen and sending it to Google. Expensive and a privacy concern. There is a 3-day free trial then it costs $90+

Already saved SO much time using this! I’ve tried other apps and nothing has been this effective at keeping me on track when I have to use socials. Love switching between task mode and not depending on what I’m working on
Actually works unlike Opal
Tried Opal for months, kept bypassing it the second I got bored. Turns out locking yourself out doesn’t fix anything — you just wait for the timer and go right back. Nudge makes you type WHY you’re opening the app before you can use it, and honestly that’s all it took.

Not exaggerating. I used to lose easily 5 hours a day to mindless scrolling.
