Picks available aren’t the “problem.”

There’s an option to pick “other” once you’ve picked the room, but you can’t name the other problem.

Response from developer

Thank you for this, you’re right. If none of the pictures fit, there was no way to tell Mochi what the mess really was. We’ve fixed it: tapping “something else” now opens a box where you type it in your own words, and your first tiny task is built from what you wrote. It’s live now for anyone setting up Nudge. Thank you for helping make Nudge better.

The BEST for baby steps! Not mentally draining!

Just tried this app called Nudge and it’s GREAT for ADD or ADHD cleaning! I had NO energy and it had me take a picture of my room to scan it and it literally gave me like 5 things to do. Simple things, but it gave me 1 by 1. The first thing was for 30 seconds. And then once I finished the task I let it know, and then it asked me if I could do another task, and then another , and there’s the option for “no this one today” or something like that. But I’m LOVING it so far! And at the beginning it asked me questions about motivation, and energy, and other things. You can try a whole week free. And it’s like less than $10 a month but shoot…. I’d definitely invest in this. It doesn’t give me a big list. It lets me do one small task at a time. And it gives me the option to not to do it but when I already started cleaning, the task doesn’t look as hard anymore so I end up doing it! I just got this app today and I have gotten a lot more done TODAY than I have all month AND I don’t feel mentally drained! It makes me want to keep going! After little breaks here and there. I just have to make sure I don’t go on any other social media apps and get stuck scrolling lol but so far it has only happened once and it was for like 5min then I looked up and I’m like, ‘oh yeah! let me continue!’ I can actually get things done! I can’t wait to enjoy a clean room this weekend!

Response from developer

Daniela, this made our whole week. Thank you for writing it all out. “I end up doing it” is exactly how Nudge is meant to work: one small task, and once you’ve started, the next one feels lighter. Skipping a task is always allowed, and starting counts even if you stop. We built Nudge because we couldn’t start either, so hearing that you got more done today than all month, without feeling drained, means a lot to us. Enjoy that clean room this weekend. Mochi’s proud of you. — the Nudge team

Small steps real results!!

I always quit tidying apps after a week. This is really different. It asks for a small thing at a time , never makes you feel behind. Worth trying if you freeze up when a look messy.

nice but…

I do well with visuals and rewards, and I was super excited to use this app as it seemed great upon downloading. Then I did the first task and was prompted to pay. I completely understand the need to put a price on things to keep it running, and it is VERY low priced! I’m just on a fixed income and low income so it sucks that I have to pay at all to even be able to use the app. Which… I can’t do, so off to find another. 3 stars because the app itself is a great idea and it helped with the ONE task, but who knows

Response from developer

Thanks for writing this instead of just deleting, and for saying it helped with the one task. That's the part that matters. I hear you on the price. It's low on purpose, but low is still not zero, and I don't have a good answer for that yet. I'm one person building Nudge and I'd rather have you using it than not. There's a seven day free trial if you want to see whether it sticks first. And if money is the only thing in the way after that, send me a note at support@nudgeclean.app or through the feedback button in Settings, and I'll sort something out for you. No forms, no proof needed.

Focus on overcoming “ADHD paralysis”

I have struggled with executive dysfunction for years and this app is an absolute game changer for me. Whenever I feel completely frozen by the thought of cleaning the ‘start tiny’, and ‘one physical step’ features help me to break out that paralysis without feeling overwhelmed doesn’t judge you for not being able to do it all at once. highly recommend this to anyone who is struggling to keep up with the chores!
