I downloaded this app looking for a way to change my birth control and get acne medication. Over the past week, they’ve charged me $80 and have been unable to send any of the prescriptions through saying “my pharmacy doesn’t take my insurance” but I quite literally WORK at the cvs they say they can’t fill it at. Since then, they’ve refused to refund me and have only offered full cash payment at the pharmacy, which if I wanted that I would’ve just gone through the pharmacy.. I got Nurx thinking it could fill the prescription for me but it cannot. Just go to a clinic or doctor if you need one- DONT waste your time with this app and DONT put in your card info when it asks, they are trying to charge you up front without consent, and will not notify you.

Charged me$59 then $10 yet never shipped my medicine out, won’t respond to me. Will be disputing this purchase .
Unreliable
I’ve been a patient for years and this year they just forgot to process one of my prescriptions for months. I specifically got this service because they automatically refill and mail meds so that I don’t need to do the mental labor of remembering to handle that. I am in a huge amount of pain now waiting for them to renew my prescription which they neglected for months. They offered to send my prescription to a local pharmacy but that won’t change the wait time I have in excruciating pain. The app is also very slow these days taking up to a minute to load (it’s not my internet) and every different type of care (reproductive, acne, etc) has two different chats, one medical and one service, and they don’t communicate with each other so I get a lot of duplicate or contradictory messages. Planning to change service providers after this super neglectful and disappointing experience.

Good service, awful app
They’re a good online pharmacy for birth control and acne medication but their app is terrible. Glitchy, badly organized, and very hard to get accurate info, such as keeping track of past orders and seeing when your next one it (in theory these functions exist, but like it said it’s glitchy and poorly organized that it’s not easy to parse thru). If it weren’t for the app, it’d be a 5 star rating from me

Headache
Every refill they tried to change what birth control I was on that is perceived to me for certain reasons. They will push whatever brand pays them to be pushed and completely ignore medical needs while charging you for the “advice”. Scam of an app and they don’t save your info so prepare to have the same conversation every time like it’s brand new.

Doesn’t listen or read and comes up with their own story
I had come here to try to get help for anxiety and panic attacks. And after going through the questionnaire and filling it out, they asked me some follow up questions because I had put down that I was diagnosed with depression many years ago.. Well apparently if you say that you have depression, then they’re gonna press you for more answers to that and it goes on and on and on. I had stated multiple times that I was I was already being treated for that and have been stable and fine completely fine for a long time now and that’s not why I’m here. The only thing that hasn’t improved with anything was panic attacks. And trying to answer the long paragraphs that they sent me over and over again I kept saying that I was only here for the panic attacks because everything else has been fine. Upon their further questioning, they asked if I was in counseling for anything I had been dealing with or if I have seasonal depression. I I answered that I had been in therapy for that and it’s been going fine. The next message that I’m not able to respond to you at all cause they cut off the chat was that they can’t help me and to keep my treatment under the same people that are prescribing the depression treatment as if that would be coming from my therapist which needs flash they don’t usually prescribe anything. This entire experience was very dismissive. They pressed me for depression over and over again, never once asking me about the sole reason why I came here which was the panic attacks and instead acted like my car was Supposed to be in person despite them claiming to help with anxiety here. Apparently, if you put down that you have ever experienced depression, then they’re going to act like youre extremely and very depressed, and apparently too depressed they can’t help you. Even though you’re just there for panic attacks or anxiety. Awful experience.

They dont care about your mental health
Tried explaining to them what was going on. And that due to no insurance i wanted to see if i can get prescriptions. They deny me and want me to get evaluated first. FOR WHAT IDK. I can’t get help anywhere else because it’s too expensive so i do not recommend Nurx unless you want to waste $50 for them to just deny you

False advertising
After googling for oral wegovy, Nurx came up, when doing the questionnaire, I was asked if I was interested in oral semaglutide compound, but then after being charged and prescribed something else, I was told they didn’t offer oral semiglutide.
Unusable App
I typically would use Nurx for skincare and birth control needs, but it won’t even let you request treatment as it will show a blank screen. I’ve tried restarting and uninstalling but nothing has fixed the issue. Impossible to use for as long as the app remains buggy.
Impossible to use
The app is so hard to use I opted to cancel my prescription even though it was working well for my symptoms. Could not deal with it.
No Communication on the app
I’ve used Nurx for a couple of years now but I had to stop using them because there is no communication between the providers on the app. They don’t tell you how much it is before you agree to the prescription and won’t give you a refund if they just ordered it within the same day. It’s ridiculous. I had had to fight with them to get a refund as the price was too high for me and they still proceeded to order it. I never got my refund back either. Just use Amazon pharmacy and it’s much cheaper than this app.

Suddenly stopped ongoing care
After being a happy customer for 5 years, Nurx suddenly cancelled care and locked my conversations with my doctors. My conversations with support team are constantly passed around and I haven’t gotten any reaffirming conclusions as to why they won’t provide care.

Difficult to navigate
I would not recommend this service. App is annoying to navigate. Not appealing either. There’s better options
Extremely slow and buggy
Response rates from the care team are extremely slow. I got a message and I replied immediately but I kept getting emails everyday for the next 4 days that I had an unanswered message until finally someone replied to me. I sent another response and now i am left waiting another few days
Creepy Provider
The provider that they matched me with started asking for inappropriate photos of my chest, which were not even an affected area. They then refused to offer me a refund.
Incompetent support staff
The support staff is absolutely incompetent. They forgot to mail my prescription, causing me to scramble with an in person doctor when I ran out. Following this incident, they said they’d ship my prescription and share tracking asap. Following a week of silence, I followed up and they said it was sent to a pharmacy. Absolutely awful customer service with each message/reply in the chat being sent to a new customer service representative, causing repetition of needs and drawn out resolutions. Should not be difficult, yet somehow there are issues abound. Figure out your support staffing.

They will double charge you
So I was using there service for about 3 months now, where I paid a regular monthly fee to receive consultation from there providers and then the prescription fee from the pharmacy. I ran out of refills at the pharmacy and during my time I already paid, in order to get more refills, they wanted me to double pay on there service in order to receive care from them that has already been paid for. I would highly recommend looking for a different place to get what your looking for as there activity scamming people. Also, my wife also use to use their service and she got what she needed from them, canceled the monthly fee but they continued to charge her anyways regardless of her cancellation. Beware of this app.
