This is the biggest update to NutraLens AI yet and it changes what the app is capable of in a meaningful way. We added a Biomarkers tab. Based on everything in your health profile, the app now generates a personalized list of lab tests worth discussing with your provider. Every recommendation traces back to peer-reviewed clinical literature including JAMA, The Lancet, NEJM, and ACC/AHA. This is the kind of thing that used to require a clinical appointment to even know where to start. The profile system has been completely rebuilt from the ground up. You can now search from hundreds of conditions, supplements, allergies, and health goals organized across 18 categories including dedicated sections for men's health, women's health, pregnancy, perimenopause, longevity, and biomarker optimization. Medications now search the live FDA drug database so you can find anything. The barcode scanner now uses your camera directly. No more typing. Point and scan. When clinically significant additives are detected in a scan, they are now flagged by name with the clinical reasoning behind why they matter. No more generic labels. Scans now identify EWG Dirty Dozen crops and include a note grounded in peer-reviewed research on pesticide residues and gut health. The onboarding experience has been fully redesigned to walk you through every feature of the app before your first scan. Across the board, food scan, barcode scan, and MedScan are more accurate, more specific, and more clinically useful than before. And this is just the beginning. Every update from here is shaped by the people using it.
